Great hostel, can be social if you want but the rooms are far enough away from the common area so you can have an early quiet night if you want. The party bus/ club on Tuesday is a good night out and your allowed to bring your own booze into the hostel. Easy walk to all areas in La Candelaria. Only small issue is that the dorm itself was a bit dark and needed to be aired out.

The hostel was great! The comon area is great everyone mingles, the bathrooms!!! Amazing! All new!! The beds were comfortable and the staff did everything to help us!

The place is really professional run and around for a few years now, that is a good sign. Place is clean and they do checklists for cleaning the bathrooms. You have to pay for breakfast. I enjoyed staying there. Staff could be more motivated at times.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The atmosphere is amazing - I met so many great people. Security is great, the rooms have huge lockers with two power outlets so you can safely charge your phone/laptop with no worries. The hostel also has its own security guard, who's very friendly. Toilets and showers are great, very clean and modern. Breakfast is extra but pretty good. The hostel sells beer but are perfectly OK with guests bringing in their own alcohol, which is nice.

This hostel was nice. We had a private room and were happy with it. Stayed up a bit due to other loud guests but didn't mind too much. Think our room was just the closest to the social area. Brekky should be included and then it would be way better value for money!! Kitchen could be cleaner but may be more due to dirty guests than not enough cleaning!

A very sociable hostel, great to meet new ppl. They organize activites at certain days (Saturday is Andres Carne del Res, a must if you are in Bogota). Had an amazing time here and would stay here again. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Staff was friendly. The hostel is at a good location to climb Monserrate or visit downtown.

A great hostel that I just kept coming back to. Good location and friendly staff. Noise tends to echo a little.

Really great hostel. Good eating/drinking area to meet people and good activities arranged by hostel. Walking tour is long but includes loads, do it! Nights out to speakeasy and the party bus night were brilliant. Staff were really helpful, from giving directions, to restaurant suggestions etc. Unfortunately showers weren't working so well when I was there, had heard they were good.

Awesome hostel! Security guards are just amazing, and volunteered to walk us nearby (though it was safe), staff is soo friendly, rooms comfy and perfect location a few mins from the metro. There was even a mix up with my room and I got upgraded at no charge or fuss. Highly, highly recommend this place.

great location, very near to the candelaria and to various other (more interesting) places like the septima (Av. 7) etc. Great beds and lockers (with power inside the lockers!), clean showers. quite social, "party-ish" atmosphere and they also organize stuff to do at night, like party busses etc. Pure Gringo-Parties though, not nearly as much fun as colombian partys (which you find all over this GREAT city!)...

Stayed there twice. Great place to stay in the "old town". Met a lot of people there, clean, good vibes and helpful staff.

This hostel has a weird atmosphere, seems that people there don´t interact much with each other - at least during our stay. Accomodations are simple but good, with a decent bed and sheets, and public areas are also pleasant and clean. Breakfast was expensive and not that good. However, the worst problem was security. The area feels safe during daytime, but at night beggars/dealers/potential robbers (it´s hard to distinguish them there) are straightforward agressive.

Great hostel! This hostel is in a perfect location, has a really friendly and helpful staff and is super clean. Both the showers and bathrooms are maintained regularly. Perfect South American hostel for any backpacker!

This was the second time I've stayed here, & can't reccomend it highly enough.. One of the best hostels I've stayed at all around the world especially in South Aerica.. Good staff, location, & spotlessly clean with a nice kitchen👍

Loved it, stay here.

Stayed at this hostel 5 years ago and it is as good as I remember it back then. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. The courtyard promotes a very social atmosphere. Breakfasts are available at very reasonable prices if you don't feel like cooking 1st thing in the morning. Beds are comfortable and have personal reading lights. Lockers are huge with power points inside. Hot showers 24hrs. Good wifi. Great location to explore the city. Highly recommend.

Crank Croc is a great little hostel right in the heart of old town Bogota! There are loads of resteraunts, bars and clubs near by and a great nightlife. Lovely beds charging on lockers and cheap breakfast. A really cool hostel I'd recommend to anyone. The wifi is terrible there though and they charge to use the printer to print boarding passes etc which personally I think is cheeky of them considering iv stayed at nearly 50 hostels and this is the first place to do that!!

Really friendly hostel with a good vibe in La Candelaria area of the city. Great shower/bathroom facilities for the dorms and the whole place is kept very clean. Good sociable atmosphere in the common areas and the staff are always willing to help out with advice and transport etc. Would definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere, nice rooms, with clean towels included! The Aussie guy was really helpful & friendly on arrival, however I can't say the same about the other staff. We were short on pesos & they wouldn't take the balance in dollars but would exchange currency for us at a shocking rate! The 'taxi' they organised to the terminal for us drove like he'd just robbed a bank & didn't know where it was & stopped to ask several times nearly causing us to miss our bus!Good hostel but pity about some staff.
