Amazing hostel. Best way to end the trip. Definitely thee most spacious hostel I have witnessed. I travelled here alone but it was an awesome base to meet people that were travelling to the other islands.

I had a great time staying in one of the dorms during my Bali stop. I was a solo traveller and I've met a lot of wonderful people who also stayed in the hotel. The pool is a great place to chill. The beds in the dorms are really comfortable and clean. It's value for money. will stay here again.

Stayed here for over a week. Absolutely fell in love with everything about this place. The vibe is great. Staff is really fun to talk to and mess with. Staying the dorms were great. The beds are really comfy and always clean! Met some great people at this hotel and we all became pretty good friends. Cannot wait to return to Bali and stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Arrived late, met by security. Lovely, clean room. Most comfortable bed we have stay in throughout our trip! Would have been helpful to have a safety deposit box as we had a laptop. Complex seems very secure though so we weren't worried about leaving valuables. Really chilled place. Great communal areas for meeting people. Included breakfast was lovely

Probably the BEST HOSTEL I'VE STAYED IN in 16 months of travel round Aus, NZ, S.E. Asia. Wonderfully spacious and airy dorms. comfortable beds with drapes for privacy.. big lockers.. personal lights.. sockets.. full-length mirrors. beds are cleaned and re-made for you every day. cafe & free breakfast excellent. brilliant social areas - very easy to meet people in the cafe or at the beautiful infinity pool. free wifi works well in cafe & ok near pool

Really enjoyed my time here and would recommend this to anyone whether youre looking for a dorm (the rooms are huge) or looking for a private room. I was booked into the dorm for 3 nights but because there was a group booking of 10 guys all from the same football team booked in for the same night so they upgraded me to my own room so I'd more comfortable. Pool and cafe area are great places to meet people. The Island is an oasis in Kuta - thank you!

A little slice of paradise in an otherwise busy crowded part of Bali. Easy to meet people, lovely pool and a fantastic dorm

I could live in this place ;) perfect beds with lots of space. Great swimmingpool, nice staff, and it's location down a small 'gang' makes it quiet too. We stayed at the swimming pool most of the time.

Great Hostel with a lot to recommend it. The dorm was always clean and cool with all beds made daily - the only improvement would be power sockets for each bed. The pool was fantastic - great for chilling out during the day or with a few late night beers. Tasty and good value food available in the cafe, especially the Indonesian dishes

Awesome, really sociable hostel, highly recommend for solo travellers and couples who want to integrate, the infinity pool is open round the clock and a great place to relax, the crows nest is great to hang out in after a few drinks in Kuta or a hard days touristing. The staff can help you arrange scooter hire, diving excursions, boats and ferrys to other islands. The Wifi is great, good reception and speed, plus there's food available till late and breakfast is included!

More like a hotel than a hostel, dorm was really comfortable. Nice areas to relax. Fab pool, I stayed there most of the time as the beach was filthy! Free breakfast was good, portions a bit hit and miss at times. Hostel was very quiet during my stay so not much of an atmosphere about the place but would recommend it to others anyways. Locks on the shower doors would have been nice!

My bed was switched without my consent, my expensive sports towel was lost / stolen in the process. Was moved to a nicer private room but proved irrelevant as drunk guests would keep me awake at 3am. Sort out your stupid double booking and noise curfew policies sheer incompetence! First time I have experienced this in SE Asia in 4 months visiting over 40 hostels!

The wifi wasn't working, but none of the staff seemed to care about fixing the problem or informing the guests. The pool was being cleaned for 2 whole days and again, if you asked, all the staff would say was: look at the sign, it's closed. No one could tell us for how long. The staff were very rude. Especially the girl, who would sigh really loud every time a guest would interrupt her to ask something. The hotel was overbooked, and some guests were kicked out to make room for new guests.

Dorm room was nice and clean. Wifi was a bit unreliable at times, but otherwise would recommend. The pool area is very nice. Credit card machine was malfunctioning when I arrived but eventually worked.

I've traveled around the world and this was the best hostel I've stayed in yet. It felt like staying in a hotel even though I was staying in a dorm style room. The atmosphere was great, location was awesome, and it was so nice to have a pool and a rooftop bar area. Also the inclusive breakfast was awesome and the food was great quality. Awesome I would stay here every time I got to Bali :-)

Stayed for just 2 nights at The Island, and found it to be a perfect juxtaposition from the more lively nightlife and activity in Kuta. It was a nice hideaway to turn in to, and provided not only a calming atmosphere, but a good culture within which to meet people as well.

A great place where you are guaranteed to meet cool people and have a fun time. It's about a ten minute taxi ride into Kuta but means it's much quieter - which I liked. Lovely pool area and restaurant and the downstairs dorm is the nicest I've stayed in anywhere in the world. Also best showers I've experienced in any hostel. It is very expensive though for a dorm, you can get a private room for much less most places in Bali.
