Great hostel! Staff is really friendly and helpfull. It is a very open hostel without strict security, but this isn't any problem, because the hostel is at the end of a 'gang' (alley). The showers are really awesome compared to other cold, showers in Indonesia

My favorite hostel in Indo so far! The beds are some comfortable and cozy with aircon, duvets and curtains. Slept better there than anywhere else. Great atmosphere, met some super cool peeps there! Home away from home ❤️

The island is very relaxing and so close to everything, kata beach, shopping, nightlife and has the best pizzas in kuta. The staff are amazingly helpful and the rooms are cleaned daily. Relaxing by the pool is an added bonus!!

Plan: stay 2 nights... but stayed in total 10! Pretty social place in legian, bit off busy kuta, but close to everything. Nice staff, good pizza and with pool & chillout area on the roof it feels like a small resort. And thosr beds: cozy! Only downside is the bad wifi in the dorm rooms, but its fine in the restaurant if you need a good connection.

The hostel was in an ideal location and in walking distance to both Kuta and Seminyak. The dorms are cleaned daily and the whole hostel is excellent value for money!! The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed with good links to shuttles to other areas within Bali. The staff are also always available to assist with any queries and book trips around Bali and to the Gilli Islands. The restaurant within the hostel is also great!

Island hostel is awesome with the great location and nice staff. Love the pool and Cafe, absolutely a laid back hostel for relax. Only 10 mns walking to the beach which is not bad. Except there's no wifi in room...

Very nice hostel! The common areas are amazing, very spacious and cozy. Good atmosphere and service. The only disadvantage is the location, relatively far from the kuta night life.

Island Hotel is a fantastic looking hotel/hostel with private and dorm rooms. The fact it has dorm rooms and such a great layout in the cafe mean that it has a very sociable atmosphere. There was a lot of interaction between guests and many friendships made. It is within reach of both Seminyak and Kuta centres (10 and 30 minute walk respectively) and the beach (5 mins). If you'd like to be near Kuta but have a bit more luxury, or be near Seminyak but not pay the high prices then this is the perf

Great hostel! Bit hard to find, but the dorm was excellent. Privacy curtains, every bed its own light and lockers and large baskets for everyone. The beds were super comfy and had actual duvets instead of just a sheet and blanket. The WiFi wasn't super, but their on-site cafe is great. Plus, it's close to the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

Very nice staff, great pool and rooms, breakfast included. A little bit on the expensive side but you get then nicest hostel in SE Asia for $20 a night.

I stayed two nights there. I would say that the atmosphere was really nice. The beds are huge and clean. If you want to sleep well this hostel is a really cost effective option. The staff is friendly as usual. The installations are really nice as well.

Second time I stayed here after a trip around Bali. Very friendly staff who're willing to help you with anything. The pool is nice, food's good and you'll meet lots of lovely people. Definetly worth a visit if you want to stay in the more relaxed area of Kuta/Legian.

Love this place! Stayed 3 times on our travels round Bali. Good location, slightly out of the way from Kuta proper (this is a good thing!) but still plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff are excellent and extremely helpful, facilities also great (pool, restaurant, masseuse, satellite TV in the private rooms). The only annoyance is not being able to get wifi in the rooms (you can get it in common areas) but otherwise a great place to stay and meet people. Would recommend.

Our stay at at the island was excellent. The staff was very helpful in arranging bike rentals and taxi rides. The private room was simple and clean.

Best hostel I've ever stayed in! It's not hard to find and is only a five minute walk from the beach and shops/restaurants. You can grab a 10 min taxi ride to kuta for very cheap. Staff are really friendly and the pool and cafe are great. Beds are incredibly comfy and everywhere is very clean. Met loads of great people here as it seems to be the favourite place to stay in legion/kuta.
