Very nice hostel in the heart of the Gangnam district. There were 3 of us, I live in Korea and my two friends from the US. They were married recently and this was their first time leaving North America in 15 years. They really enjoyed it. It is very close to bus stops and the subway for transportation, a lot of restaurants and places to drink for nightlife, and great shopping as well.

Very clean hostel with a good location, close to metro. Breakfast is include. Only saw the staff once when I checked in so I cant evt really evaluate. There was no lock on the door, so everyone in the appartment was able to get into my room. This hostel is perfect is you are already traveling with some friends or meeting people in the Gangnam are. The hostel dont have any atmosphere, so if you are alone, you might want to book somewhere else. One bathroom/shower for 8 people.

Overall a good, clean place. Close to Gangnam station and is right in the heart of the city. If you're a solo traveler, looking to make friends, this isn't the place for you. (Check out Lazy Fox in Hongdae). If you're looking for a nice, clean place to sleep at night, this is perfect!

Best hostel if you are reaching the Seoul Station. Just 2 metro stations and 5 minutes walking and you will be at the hostel. Nice neighborhood to have some tasty local food (please ask Dave, hostel owner, for more information). Dave and his wife are just awesome. They treated me like a king! Well done JA Hostel. Regards, José

The JA is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the station, with bars and restaurants close by. The hostel itself is not a typical hostel, it is basically a 2 bedroom apartment with bunk beds crammed into each room. There is not much of a social atmosphere here, however this is obviously dependant on the people staying. I booked 2 nights but left after the first night, as there was a guy in my room who insisted on having the window open which made the room too cold to sleep.

Well maybe is just my luck but I visited in the midst of autumn and the weather was really funky. But living with Koreans is kinda hard because they off the air conditioning when they are about to go to sleep. 6 men in a room not wearing their top on gives a funky smell. And well 10 people (6m4f) will really create a queue for the only toilet. The other unlucky thing was I had to queue for the toilet at 2am in the morning because a girl woke up to shower. Just my luck I guess.
