Such an amazing experience!! The meeting place was like a home away from home! The staff and manager (Adam) treated my friends and I like part of a family! The showers were amazing! They actually stayed on longer than 10 seconds and were lovely and hot unlike the last hostel I stayed at. Staff was very helpful and great at suggesting places to see around the city! I'm def recommending all my friends and fellow travelers go here! I never wanted to leave! :)

I couldn't sleep well because my roommates were very noisy. I used a female-dorm but some guys kill time in our room. so, I was very uncomportable.

The hostel was great. It was really clean and secure. You get a free personal locker and key to enter the place from the outside. I know the vibe changes based on who is there at the time of your stay.. but I thought everyone was super chill and nice. I have never stayed somewhere that houses long term ppl... but they are helpful. Location is pretty decent because its close to one of the main line stops... but the actual neighborhood isnt too hip. I will recommend this place to friends.

The Meeting Place is a very welcome inclusion to the growing list of hostels around Taipei City. Many hostels simply offer a bed & some helpful advice (if you're lucky). The Meeting Place offers all the usual hostel facilities - in a safe, & secure, clean & friendly space. But unlike most Taipei hostels, there's pleny of Space at this Place! Big rooms, big kitchen, big movie-lounge & big hot-water showers! Big value for money at a great Location. Close to MRT & Train lines & RaoHe Night Market!!

We loved our stay at The Meeting Place, one of the cleanest, most comfortable hostels we've been in. We stayed in the 12 mixed dorm at 10usd a night and were very pleased. The staff were nice and very helpful. Wi-fi worked great and there were always people chilling in the lounge watching movies after 6pm. Definitely would stay here again if I decide to return to Taipei!

The Meeting Place was one of the best hostels I've ever been to. The location is great -- close to the MRT and a great night market. The staff are really helpful and answer questions as best they can. Most people are long-term, either teaching English or studying Chinese, so it's a unique atmosphere. It's social too -- people go out a lot. The place is kept clean, there's free wi-fi and lockers are provided.

Great hostel with a very good character. Plus, it's cheap! I enjoyed it enough the first time to stay around another time. I really liked the mix of longer term teachers and short term travelers like me which helped me getting a better understanding of the city. Highly recommended.

I had a great time at the Meeting Place! All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The communal area is a great place to meet other people and the kitchen is large! Beds are comfortable and bathroom is spacious and clean. The MRT and the train station are very close, most are american teacher long-term residents and short-term,Most occupants who live there work as teachers or study chinese in Taipei, Highly recommended!

The meeting place was very affordable and a great place to stay both short and long term. The manager even allowed me to shift my final night at the hostel because of a change in plans. Also, I was amazed at how nice this hostel was considering it's cheap price. Highly recommend!

The Meeting Place was the very first hostel that I have stayed at and I was very pleased with the staff and location. One thing that I did not like was that there was a shared shower room for all, and men walking out in their boxer shorts. That was a little uncomfortable.

Great place with great atmosphere. Staff are very approachable and willing to help, with your mandarin also! Location is good once you figure out where you are. I suggest looking up the directions a nit yourself and not just what's written here as I got lost ha. Close to night market which has some great chicken pie! Had a real good time, would go back if ever in Taipei again.
