People in the hostel were really nice. It was clean but not like other hostel I was before in Galway but no prob. We had room next to the toilets and that wasnt a great place to hear one girl vomiting there. Breakfast was ok. It was cheap and really in the centre of the town of Westport so great choice :)

Handsome historic building, comfortable beds, hot showers, spacious kitchen and common area, friendly staff, interesting guests, delicious homemade bread. An excellent place to relax before and after cycling the Greenway. Thanks for the hospitality - I look forward to more of the same.

I stayed in the hostel recently in the 8 people female dorm. The room, despite being full to capacity, didn't feel crammed. The hostel is straight in the town centre but a bit off the main road so there was no / very little noise coming from the street. The home made bread and toasts with jam were a nice touch.

Positives: Lovely, friendly staff and great, central location. Kitchen space and facilities were good too. Met some lovely people during my stay. Negatives: Extremely noisy in dormitories and corridors -constant slamming of doors and constant loud thudding -(possibly people jumping from top bunk to floor). Also, was sleeping in room beside toilet/ shower facilities, so a lot

An awesome building, and gorgeous dorms, well stoked kitchens and super good bathrooms. Could do with personal lockers in the dorms, but the trust system seems to work here.

A great hostel, one of my best in Ireland. Good atmosphere and charming accomodation. Just one thing, the common area closes too soon for me

Very nice hostel in an old mill. Really good atmosphere and a good city and starting point for some tours.

The hostel has a lot of character (old mill), the staff was very accommodating and the overall atmosphere was very good. Bathrooms could be cleaner - shower cabins did not drain properly. The second night there was some commotion by some young residents and there was none to respond to it. Overall, an excellent place from where to explore Croagh Patrick, Westport House, and the county of Mayo.

Had a fantastic stay here! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Located right in the center of town. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!

Rooms are very basic and small though clean enough. The place could do with a bit of renovating, the hall leading to my rooms had an unpleasant musty smell, probably from the old carpets, the light just over the shower in the men's bathroom was not working and you had to shower in relative darkness. The kitchen was quite comfortable, clean and well equipped as well as pretty modern. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall I was happy enough but not terribly impressed with my stay.

I had a fantastic stay here! This place had the biggest and cleanest kitchen I've ever seen in a hostel and was open with the common room, which made it easy to meet lots of travelers. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. I highly recommend a stay here!
