decent enough hostel, but be very careful as you would anywhere in Cambodia. the bookings desk will happily lie to you and charge you prices different than what is written on the desk you are currently attending in front of. it's completely shameless. rooms are only as clean as your roommates are -standard for a hostel.

Hostel atmosphere is everything you could want. There is a pool with a bar where you can order food and drinks, great lounging area to meet people. There's a pool table and movie room upstairs. Full breakfast menu plus buffet for $2 (free for private room) that is yummy. Dorm rooms are comfortable, three bunks and a private bath. Location is convenient to pub street and night markets (about a 4 min walk). Hostel staff is friendly and helpful and will organize any touring or trips you need.

Best hostel ever. Perfect location and good rooms. Cinema room, chill lounge with hammock, pool table, foosball table, indoor swimming pool surrounded by chill out sofas, decent happy hour offers, good restaurant/ bar area with good food and drinks, very efficient tour/travel service with notice boards covered in useful information. Great staff, even their tuktuk drivers go above and beyond- we lost a group member in the temples and he searched on a borrowed moped and on foot to find her!

Siem Reap Hostel is the best. We came there 21st of July 2015 and had a great experience of the hostel. All good comments from other members are authentic and true they have the best security, location, staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, value for money and facilities. Definitely recommended, well return if i had a chance to do another back packing.

We stayed here two nights & we're happy with the location, atmosphere, security, and socially responsible business practices. Our dorm was quiet as people wanted to go to the temples early but the common rooms were buzzing. A perfect balance. They have a movie theatre and yoga room so what more could you want? The hostel arranged a tuk tuk driver for us who we paid directly & was very nice. I highly recommend the Seim Real Hostel.

Great facilities and pretty helpful staff. Good atmosphere, pool table, bar and swimming pool - what more do you need?! Rooms are big and spacious with good bathroom and very clean. Great hostel.

Nice place to meet people. Good facilities and clean. Tip: Watching the sunrise in Angkor is very popular, so every single night in the bunk room I was woken up at 3am by people taking showers and leaving the room in the middle of the night. Even with earplugs it was impossible to sleep well. If you're staying more than two nights, better pay for a private room.

Possibly the best hostel I've been to. Once you get over the dust and small animals, it's a beautiful building with really friendly people, big rooms, balconies, cheap drinks, great food, and a swimming pool. Hard to fault!

Hi and thanks for the kind words. By small animals I'm guessing you mean the friendly Asian house geckos that are endemic from India to Indonesia - they've even made it to Australia in recent years. They're perfectly harmless and even fun to watch running around upside down on the ceiling. Siem Reap is a dusty town, that's why we're always cleaning and hosing down the road out front. Hope you're still having fun wherever you are! :-)

what I liked most about the hostel was it's friendly staff and the vibrant culture over there. Being an Asian backpacker( which I did not spot any other fellow asians) , it allowed me to chat up with backpackers from other countries( Denmark, US, UK etc) which was really cool.

Fantastic hostel! One of our favourites of our trip. The atmosphere is fantastic and the pool is great after a long day of walking around. Super easy to organise tours - temple trip was very cheap. Would definitely stay again!

A very lively hostel with a cool pool and book exchange. Breakfast (complimentary for private rooms and $2 for dorms) is wholesome and awesome. Excellent draught beer and cocktails available at dirt cheap prices during happy hours. Movie screening and free tuk tuk pickup are bonus. Close to Pub street and a 24hr mart. Excellent is the word I will describe and would love to come again..

Lovely hostel- impeccably clean dorm rooms which are spacious and have aircon. Good social area and easy to meet people as a solo backpacker. Lovely pool and movie room and a general good vibe. Social but not lads on tour. On top of all fhat, it's also an ethical hostel and helps employ local people, providing decent wages and workers conditions. Perfect!

Really great hostel, free pickup at the airport. Staff was friendly and was able to book tours and bus tickets easily with no problems. Pool was a great bonus. Wifi would cut in and out sometimes, but was tolerable. Would definitely recommend!!!

The staff is super helpful. The food they serve at the bar is decent. 50 cent beers starting at 5pm. The pool is great. Lots of areas to hang out....pool table, theater room, yoga room. The room itself was large and the bathrooms were pretty clean. It's located in a pretty good area...laundry service next door. 5ish minute walk to the night market. Maybe 10 to pub street.
