There isn't really anything more you can ask for in a hostel: bar, pool, billiards, cinema. The staff are generous and efficient with their advice, there are places to chill and have a quiet moment of reflection, or to meet people and have a splendid night of regret. And the hostel does positive work in the Siem Reap community. So you can feel good about having a good time.
If you're ever stuck in Cambodia, make sure it's there !
Great hostel in the heart of Siem Reap. It was perfect for meeting people to go out with and the staff were super helpful for arranging tours, transport, etc. Just book early if you're coming in the high season; I had to leave after one night since they were sold out!
Please do something about the rats in the garden.
Great hostel, awesome staff, good & affordable meals, excellent atmosphere... 10/10! One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in!
Awsome backpacker hostel ! huge common area with pool and restaurant! Close to Chicken bars, the market and ruins. They can book cheap awsome toors for you also! Cheers to great times!
A kind of BEST HOSTEL at all! Here you won't miss anything. Tthe standard of everything is very high, so anything about complain, good wifi, good bar, aircon, nice rooms, nice staff!
Really nice hostel, unfortunately the crowd/roommates during our stay was not that good. As hostels are usually an excellent hub for travelers to exchange knowledge and experience, it is not really helpful sharing a room with a family who does not give a damn about you .. Other than that, really nice hostel with great location, free airport pick-up, nice pool and cheap bar :) ..
I stayed at 18-bed mixed dorm and there was 1 bathroom and 1 restroom which was a little not enough for that sum of people. I didn't encounter the long queue though, just the observation :)
The atmosphere was fantastic and everybody was really friendly and extremely helpful. The staff were great about booking tours and tickets. The happy hours kept me smiling. I stayed at two other more expensive hotels as well but they were not near as good. The only thing I found annoying was the lack of change at the bar and front desk. Also, they wouldn't accept any bills that had even the smallest tear. That aside, don't stay at any other hostel in Siem Reap! Love this place. Thanks Dreiss!

It's hard to describe why I loved this hostel so much, but I'll try. 1) everyone there is awesome - both staff and guests. 2) The atmosphere in the common area/restaurant/bar is perfect 3) They serve a mix of cambodian and western food - and they have real coffee. That last part might not seem important at the beginning of your trip, but it will become increasingly important. 4) They help coordinate daily trips, tuk-tuk rides, cooking classes, etc. 5) They're just great.
Good hostel and located in a very convenient location. The rooms were nice and clean and had a small balcony. Walking distance from the night market and pub street. The hostel also had association with tuk tuks who would take you across Siem Reap for very reasonable fairs. Also, they had organized tours for those who wanted to do the same. A suggestion: They cycles were for free but probably need some maintenance. Maybe charge a dollar and have better cycles.
Nice facilities, good food, cheap beer, great location close to the old market/pub street (but far enough that you can sleep easy), friendly and helpful staff, and socially responsible to boot. Everyone I met agreed it was better than we could have expected.
This was a great stay in all respects. You do a great job. I have one comment about noise: even on a room away from the street (205), the traffic on the main street is very noisy and the glass door does nothing to block it. It was doable with earplugs. I had the pleasure to speak with the owners, who were around town from Australia for business, and hearing their story about how the hostel came to be and how many local people they employ was inspiring.
great location, travel desk that can help you out arrange for trips and organise your visits to the temples, nice bar with a good food menu, friendly staff and a good place to meet other travellers
My one complaint is the staff - some people were friendly but the woman when we checked in was horrible. I gave her my name and she said flatly that there was no record of my booking. I showed her my confirmation and booking #...Then after staring for about 5 minutes saying nothing, she gave us our key. No apology or anything. As everyone said, this hostel has an awesome vibe, tons of great people, fun bar and pool area. Someone picked us up at the bus which was great because we arrived late.
Great hostel! Maybe not the party haven that is Crazy Monkey, but it has a great vibe and is a good basecamp for exploring the temples and city. The free bikes are old and have one gear, so I recomend renting a mountain bike from the shop down the street on the roundabout. $7 a day, got a brand new Giant crossover bike.
