The hotel is very close to West Kensington tube station (zone 2) with Sainsbury's supermarket nearby which is very good. It is located in an expensive residential area so it is quite safe even at night. The hotel itself is currently undergoing refurbishment so everything is new and clean. The shower is the best part of it. I would definitely recommend it.

Since we visited the hostel during a period of general renovation the atmosphere and cleanliness were not at their best but the staff made sure to compensate for that and were really kind and helpful. I am certain that once the renovation is complete this will be one of the best places to stay in London.

I was in this hostel a few days ago. Now there is uncomfortable situation. They repairs building inside and outside. Maybe after that this place will be great. Now there wasn't hot water in shower, from 7 am they drill and i couldn't sleep. Cleanliness in the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Location great, near to the center. On the corner is nice bar where you can drink something after 10 pm :-)

Found footsteps on the floor, stains on bed - I consider that not clean enough. Water did not come down correctly from the shower, consider repairing. Window had basically half-inch gaps - impossible to close. We had 10% discount because refurbishment was in progress - but it was not advertised on the site, so it came as a surprise - not good. Door was left open one day by cleaning personnel, found open on return - not safe.

This is not a hotel it is a hostel and an ongoing buildingsite. The breakfast was OK but the breakfast room was VERY crammed, not big enough for the number of guests. Guests had to leave their chairs to let others in to their chair all the time. The staff was not helpful and had a negative attitude. The kitchen was a very sad place, very dirty, the pots and pans were hardly usable and there were no cutlery or glasses. During my 4 daysstay it was never cleaned and probably not for a long time.

please people! Sleeping in a nice and clean park is far better than this place. extremely rude stuff. Forget about the toilet and bath room because they were so disgusting that I went to the nearest restaurant to use their toilet instead. Construction site. spiders, insects. Don't go there even if you have to! If no decent place found, sleep in a bench in hyde park!

The hostel is in full reconstruction at the moment. It is literally a bed to sleep in at night with a continental breakfast in the morning in the middle of a construction zone. You can tell the building is pretty old, bathrooms that are broken or out of order. There is also no lift, if you are on the third floor when your key doesn't work you have to hike up and down quite frequently. The hostel is just outside of zone 1 so you have to pay zone 2 prices to arrive by the tube.

Well the whole building was under construction, loose electrical cords everywhere. One look at the kitchen and we decided to eat out.

My first impression walking in was that the pictures used online for this hostel must be completely out of date. The entire place smells old and rotting, the stair cases reminded me of the film The Shining with dirty red carpets patched with duct tape. The staircases and corridors were horrible to navigate and I was constantly lost. None of the fire exit signs led to an actual exit. The bathrooms were horribly old with separate faucets for hot and cold water. I do not recommend this place.

Kitchen way to small. no where to sit down and have coffee or eat any meals that were prepared. Internet was good

The water pressure of the shower is rather low, took ages to have a shower and hair washed. The hooks in the washroom are broken. The bed is not quite comfortable. After the flush, there is a loud noise from the toilet. There isnt a safe place for keeping your luggage before you check in or after check out. They posted notice to remain you it is at customers' own risk.

It's a good place where to stay. I slept in a double private room, it was good and clean. Stuff is ok, but the time of check in and check out are not flexible at all. Brixton is well linked to the center of london with victoria line, just few stops and you stay right in the center. At the end i say the hostel is on the average , nothing too bad and nothing too good, is just a good place where to sleep, but is not one of those hostels where you have fun.

Nice place lovey area, only a few stops to victoria, plenty of shops etc at the top if the street, lovely little park just along the street, perfect for when the weather is good. Watched andy murray win wimbledon in the bar :) excellent place would recommend for sure

it was difficult to meet people, there were lots of stairs, and the facilities just weren't that nice. my bed squeaked so loud that i woke up everyone whenever i rolled over, not to mention gettiing in/out of bed. it also felt a little sketch walking back to the hostel along a mostly-deserted residential road late at night from the metro. breakfast was fine and the staff was very helpful. i stayed there the weekend of wimbledon, which explains how crazy expensive the hostel was for me.

Easy to find the location even it's located at zone 2. Nice staff and ver helpful. Clean and tiny.

Arrived to hotel to find booking was cancelled, receptionist was very rude to us, did not explain properly why booking was cancelled, had no other rooms for us that night, difficult to find hotel, many shopkeepers close-by did not know where hotel was, would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Better and more extensive toilet and bathroom faciliites needed
