Excellent two night stay in female dorm, the only thing that annoyed me was all the dudes constantly hanging around the female only floor. Isn't that the point of a female floor? It was fine and they were nice enough but there's something unnerving about having to climb over a group of guys in front of your door on a midnight toilet run.

This hostel is very homie and accepting. I felt more comfortable here at The Walrus Hostel than my own home. They create an atmosphere that allows us (guest) to feel like a family. I hope to come back to visit and meet new travelers as I did this first time around.

The location is perfect, right next to the big ben and the London eye. Also the staff was amazing!! Although I think they could improve a little bit the bathrooms because the showers weren't good and I felt a little bit cold at night in my room.

Some people do not respect others in the 18 people dorms. American girls especially the week we where there. But that is not the hostels fault!

A good welcom and quiet 18 bed dorm with ensuite showers, nice small kitchen that was'nt used much. The bar below was popular and had a good DJ on Thursday night. I enjoyed it there, the only thing was on my 2 nights i got bitten badly 6 times by bed bugs and 1 week later still have the deep scares to prove it! Not pleasant. This needs to be sorted asap.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel more than any other in London. I didn't stay long, but I liked how cheap the beers on tap were and the breakfast. The staff was AMAZING as well. I can't remember his name, but one guy helped me figure out a few things I had to do while I was in the city. I will be coming back if I can.

First impression of this hostel was: "OMG this is a wrack." Besides of the staff, which was really friendly and helpful everything seemed old to "over used" and simply ugly. The kitchen does not even have a table to eat. The showers were running out of water, even when it was some water is was too less and way too cold. My six bed dorm was had no space left to put your jacket or small things somewhere. Would definitely not stay there again, especially for the money I paid.

Alex was very kind. Too bad the other young guy there wasn't. The staff in general was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is great and the rooms are very clean. I have been to a lot of hostels (way more than I've reviewed here) and I would definitely come back here. People can chill out or be social if they want.

Was really awesome staying at The Walrus. The hostel is very clean, very close to the center of London (about 10 min walk from the Big Ben) and Alex the manager is also a wonderful person.

Great Hostel. Friendly staff, warm beds (more comfortable than my University dorm bed), good location. Breakfast is only nominal though. If you need a solid breakfast don't count on getting here. Toast and juices. The showers are fine. The water cut off briefly but came back on just as warm as before. Anyway, good place to stay, especially for the cost.

The Walrus was so amazing. I walked in to a bunch of staff members that were so friendly. they were happy to tell me where was good to go out and see things and also what areas are not safe. They were really helpful and fun. The Lead guy that works there (Alex) would chop of his hand to help some one he is so kind. I have been 3 times now and its just beautiful. the kitchen is this little cute old school thing it does shut at 11pm so thats a shame but its so no drunkies steal your food.

This hostel was very fun, and I do recommend it, however, if you stay here, do not lose your combination to your room. The combo comes on a very small piece of paper, keep it secret, keep it safe.

Stuff was extremely helpfull and nice. Location was quite good. Price was ok for a central London area No elevator unfortunately and living on the 4th floor can be discouraging Railway right next to the establisment with trains passing quite often during the night can ruin it for you. Breakfast was quite good, Wireless internet as well The ground floor bar was very cool :D Overall experience was good. I would probably stay again

Well only ended up staying one night in this hostel, while its a good location in London as in easy access to all the main places, what didn't like about it was that, found hard to sleep due to the noise both they traffic on the streets and train that goes over the hostel, lot of noise during the night since the bed I was staying it was close to window and streets. A place do not ever seem myself ever going to again.

Wonderfull staff and location very close to Waterloo station. Bar downstair was a great place to meet people. Kitchen was small and always crowded but that's not a big deal. One of the nicest stays I've had this far in hostels, and I will definitely be back!
