The Walrus is a social yet relaxed hostel, perfect for travellers who want to meet people and experience all the city has to offer. Our on-site classic British pub is a welcoming space to grab a drink, share stories, or plan your next adventure, and our friendly team is always on hand to help you make the most of your time in London.
Our pub features regular events like live music gigs and pub quizzes. Feel free to bring your own food into the bar; we recommend checking out Lower Marsh market just steps from our door for some delicious local eats.

To make payment, we’ll send you a secure payment link by email — please make sure the email linked to your Hostelworld account is correct, or contact us directly with your current address.
Standard rate bookings: Payment is taken 72 hours before arrival.
Non-refundable bookings: Full payment is required in advance. If payment isn’t completed, the booking may be cancelled.
Large bookings (£300+): A non-refundable 25% deposit is required, with the final balance due 14 days before check-in.
Please note: Guests under 18 must stay in a private room and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
