I LOVE The Yellow!! This was my 2nd time staying here and it was even better! The staff are awesome, especially the bartenders. Great location, decent price, and the bar downstairs has some really great food for VERY cheap. There are always alot of different people staying here, so it's really easy to make friends. It's definitely a party hostel downstairs at night, but all of the rooms are upstairs, so you don't hear noise at all. This is the only hostel I will stay at in Rome. Thanks Yellow!!

Really enjoyed my stay at The Yellow! The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, and the Yellow bar was an awesome place to hang out, eat, drink, and dance! I stayed in a 4 person mixed room, simple but very clean and had everything I needed, and the showers were wonderfully hot with good water pressure. Only issues were lines for the bathrooms, and no wifi in the bedrooms themselves (had to walk down street to reception for wifi). Other than that, a great stay! Had an awesome time!

Thanks so much for the great review. There are only a few rooms that our wifi does not reach at the moment. As part of the renovations happening here, we'll be changing that. So next time you come and party with us, when you're hung over and laying in bed, you'll be able to surf the net no matter what room you're in. Thanks again, we appreciate the time it takes :)

The best hostel i have stayed so far! Great location, 3 minutes walk from Termini Station, perfect to visit Rome. The rooms were very clean and the quality price ratio was unbeatable!

The hostel totally justified itself as one of the top hostels in Rome. The atmophere is great, the staff - friendly, and the parties every night - just awesome! It's true that you can cut your expenses not only for public transport (because nearly all you ever need is within a walking distance, just don't be too lazy to walk it), but also for drinks at other bars. The Yellow Bar has the cheapest drinks and the sexiest bartenders (both male and female - you choose!). Only shower sucks, sorry =(

I loved the Yellow! My friends and I got a 4 person private and it was perfect! The bathroom was so clean and the room itself was very secure and safe. The staff is really helpful in giving you great tours to check out, however the Vatican pamphlet was 4 years outdated so we planned on doing that tour, but once we got there the tour guide explained he didn't actually take us to the Vatican. So be careful! Always ask the front desk. But, besides that the bar was awesome and a great atmosphere!

not having a common room or WiFi in the dorm room made things difficult, meaning you had to go down to the bar (which I guess that's what they want).

Such a cool and relaxing place to stay. There are parties for sure, but I had no trouble avoiding them on the nights I didn't want to go out. Of course it was a great time when I did want to though! The shower/bathroom set-up is awesome. It might seem silly, but it's great to have the showers and bathrooms in a different room. You don't have to wait super long for one to open up and you're not bothering anyone by showering. :)

It's a really good Hotel with nice location from the main train station of Rome. The only problems: no wifi on the dorms and there was no soap for the bath.

The doors slam constantly no matter what time of day! The atmosphere is really fun, but don't plan on getting any full sleep.

You need to reconsider those bedroom doors. They are extremely loud and would wake-up everyone through the night. Also, I've been in various hostels and this one is definitely among my Top 3 "Worst Staff" Hostel: never smile, didn't help me when I ask for Information to go to the airport. I know Staff are 'just people', and aren't supposed to be friendly all the time, but YOU WORK AT A YOUTH-HOSTEL, guys; if it's too much of a task -to be helpful-, better get another job.
