Public areas and the kitchen were closed for private events with no advance notice. Closures were only disclosed after arrival and during the stay. Communication was inconsistent and unresolved. Consider confirming shared space access before booking. Disappointing experience with the core hostel space and how they handle communication. Just a solid example of how they tried to earn money by renting out their space and ended up squeezing out the authenticity and value of hostel-style experience.

I stayed here for two nights in an 8-bed dorm. The room was spacious and had bunk beds. The beds have a plastic-type base, and you need to make your own bed using the provided bedsheet, comforter, and pillow. Because of the plastic surface, the bedsheet kept sliding off while I was sleeping, so I expected better bedding and for the bed to be pre-made. Other than that, everything else was good. They have a 24-hour reception, so you can check in at any time. Towels are charged extra if you don’t

Such a great location! It’s within walking distance (or a short ride on public transit) to all of the must-see spots in Rome. The vibe is very lively but there are also lots of spaces for quiet time along with laundry on-site. It could be cleaner in the bathrooms and the beds (mold in the shower and I found a pair of old socks next to my mattress) but all in all I would still recommend this hostel all things considered.
