Super close to the train station, in a decent area. The breakfast in the bar downstairs wasn't really worth it, but finding good food in Rome is not a problem!!

This was the best hostel that I have stayed at. I really enjoyed my stay here. It was super easy to meet people in this hostel. I wish that smoking wasn't allowed in the basement.

The Yellow was very loud and busy, which is to be expected for one of the most popular hostels in Rome. It was very conveniently located and I had a good stay there. There's really nothing that was terribly wrong with it, the atmosphere just wasn't to my personal liking, but everyone else seemed to be enjoying themselves a lot. If you're looking for a more intimate or personal environment, this is not it.

This is definitely a social hostel. The bar and restaurant downstairs is so much fun that we never found the need to find exciting nightlife elsewhere.

Great atmosphere, really easy to meet new people, only downside is it's about 30 mins walk from the main sightseeing attractions, but weather was good and it was a nice walk along the beautiful streets of Rome! Really clean modern bathrooms, and can rent towels for free (have to pay a deposit). Great place to touch base at. Although wouldn't recommend the food here, it's rather average...have a wander around and you'll find some great roadside cafes and takeaways.

Hostel is in a great location very close to termini station. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.. However, rooms would need some upkeep like painting of the white walls, which as I remember where much cleaner last year. Also, hostel staff should make a policy for the guests ariving after midnight 12.00am, to escort them and make sure they are entering the doorms in a respectfull manner. I had a case on last Thursday where 2 people came at 2:00am in the morning and woke up everyone.

Great hostel, especially to meet people and have a fun time. The rooms are nothing fancy but fine to sleep in and store your stuff.

The Yellow is definitely a quality hostel that is worth staying at. The facilities are excellent and the staff are very helpful. I felt that everyone else staying there had a similar situation to myself, traveling solo and open to meeting new people. I was in a 6 bed mixed dorm and we all had a great time together and went out a few times. The location is right next to the train station but not really near to many bars, so you'll most likely end taking a taxi both ways on your nights out.

It is close to train station, about 10 minutes or less on foot. If you do online check-in in advance as they ask you to do, you will get a free-drink coupon. Then, you can drink in the bar. It has small shower room and toilet in a room.

Very clean and save hostel but the staff wasn't very friendly. The bar was nice during the day but at night the atmosphere wasn't very comforting. I don't regret staying in this hostel because it was clean and save. I just missed the familiar atmosphere i experienced in other hostels.

I know this was probably an oversight but even though your in a ,mixed dorm, putting one female in a room full of disgusting drunk french men and no one else for a night on the weekend of the rugby final cant ever be a good thing unless i wanted a drunken pack orgy with 35 plus year old french assholes. No offence to the french though :/ the girl from byron bay working there was lovely and your hostel was great, otherwise, just bad luck on my part :)

The Yellow is awesome!! I had a great time here. The rooms were clean comfortable. They didn't have free breakfast, which is a downer, but they had a good selection of cheap breakfasts to choose from, which were all very delicious! The bar is awesome and the beer pong downstairs was fun. The staff were great and helpful. Overall, I was a very good stay.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed! Clean and comfortable, food easily available, very affordable. I literally left my ipod at the reception desk for a day, came back, and it was still there! THAT's good security! I always felt very good when I was at this hostel. Would definitely recommend to anybody! :)Thanks again for everything Jenny!
