Studios Arabas is a very nice hostel, people are very friendly and supportive. You feel like home or within a big family. So if you are looking for a good hostel I can just recommend it to check this one out. It is a little bit hard to find without map, so I would recommend you to print out a map before going there, as in Thessaloniki you might have problems to find the tourist information as well. In summary a place worth to visit again.

As other reviews have said, it is a little out of the way, but that's not a bad thing! The first time you find it can be a little difficult, but after that it's easy. I was able to walk from the Hostel to the White Tower in about half an hour. There's also a lot of cheap but delicious restaurants nearby. There's no lock on the building door, but I didn't feel insecure. Our host, Elizabeth, was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful. If I'm in Thessaloniki again, I'll be back!

Loved the location, step out right into the old town. Staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Full of character, like the people there. The hostel was very clean and had a wonderful garden where was held a nice barbeque event in the evening of our arrival with plenty of food, cold beer and nice music. Really enjoyed my stay!

Ich habe ein privates 5er Zimmer mit eigenem Bad gebucht und ein Durchgangszimmer mit gemeinsamem Bad bekommen. außerdem waren beide Toiletten defekt. Definitiv keine Empfehlung von mir!

The walk up the hill wasn't much of a problem for me. I didn't really like the location and the staff wasn't overly helpful. They didn't have maps for us and didn't tell us much about the city until we asked. It was nice they upgraded us, but my lack of hot water was a downfall.

decent place but everyone gets lost trying to find it! look at a map, closely, before you arrive and ignore their instructions. the rooms were nice and clean but they do charge 3euro to use the stove which is a bummer.

Ok so, this place did not feel that secure, I always locked my luggage, the main entrance to the dorms wasn't locked, you literally just had to shove the door. The rooms were cold and the covers were short. To get there you had to follow graffiti. All in all, it wasn't the best BUT IT WAS CHEAP.

Studios Arabas was very difficult to find. The street did haven't a street sign, and was only indicated by some graffiti on a slab on concrete near the ground. We arrived at the hostel to find a shabby room with a musty scent, old couches covered haphazardly with grungy blankets, and Ike, who never smiled - except when he interrupted our watching CNN news with "Then I Got High" and "Show Me Your Genitals". The room was cold; bathroom was dirty; kitchen was a sham; made us all uneasy. Cheap!

I stayed at the Thessaloniki Studios Arabas about a month ago with a few friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a little difficult to find the place, but once we found it, it was all uphill from there (literally!) The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating to us. We were given suggestions on places we should visit while we were there, as well as maps of the area. Other guests were friendly, and it was a pleasant stay. Thanks for such a great first experience in Greece!

Absolutely loved it! It's more like a hotel, each room has its own bathroom and mini kitchen! It's at the top of a beautiful hill, in a prime location! the staff are great and very helpful. It's a clean place, small and cute! 100% recommend people stay there! It is extremely cheap, and MORE than worth your money!

The location is a bit strange and hard to get to. The price was good, though, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Good room for the price and great staff. We LOVE the owner. Had no problem walking back to the hostel when drunk on the weekends and enjoyed the nice rooms. Recognize that the hotel is UP THE STREET from where it is plotted on the map that HostelWorld recommends. This will save you a lot of time looking for it. Happy travels
