It was hard to find but that is not their fault. Had to cook outside and the Mosquitos were bad. Otherwise it was a good stay. Loved the walking tour!

Most awesome place to stay in Thessaloniki. Great atmosphere, nice common place to get to know people, super free walking tour and very friendly & helpful stuff.

With 5 beds in the dorms and a lousy fan, when it gets hot you might as well sleep outside. Which is what I did for my two nights there.

the hostel was rather strange but original. it didn't look very tidy, but we liked the atosphere. in the hostel you can try national food at a small price, but you can't sit in the yard after 11p.m. It was very unusual for us. Also it was strange that in every room you have a little kitchen, but you're not aloowed to use it. All in all the hostel is rather interesting and the stuff is always friendly and ready to help.

Very informative staff. Food very good. All information well explained.

The bathroom was not vert clean. The staff is great, the hostel is a bit difficult to find.

Very nice stay in this hostel. The team is very kind and thoughtful. It's pleasant to spend the evening in the backyard with the other people. Everybody is respectful.

The people there are awesome! Then staff especially, so helpful! Best of all, I got to try the homecook dinner!

Well situated, in the old town of Thessalioniki, not too far away from the town center. Friendly staff and very relaxed atmosphere.

Staff were incredibly helpful, generous and welcoming! I had a fantastic time in Thessaloniki and enjoyed fresh watermelon (karpoozi) with the staff when trying to shelter from the heat each day!

fine hostel, 15 min walk from main center in quiet area. Everything ok, except breakfast (3 euro for 2 sandwiches, tomato, egg)

after you have managed to reach the hostel on the hill, a shabby (random old, timeworn furniture, poorly looked after garden) place with a bossy "mama" will await you. furthermore, you will experience a terrarium-feeling in the rooms - including insects such as cockroaches and mosquitoes as well as an inhuman temperature (no a/c). the only good thing i can say about this hostel are the volunteers - they did a great job. please, if you like yourself, try to avoid this place!

The hostel is situated in a nice spot in the old town, but to the city center you have to walk ~20 Minutes The rooms are nothing special but totally OK, comfy beds, clean and a separate shower for each room What makes this place great is the staff. They are super friendly and very helpful trying to answer every question If you're happy enough and Dora (the owners mother) is around she might cook lunch/dinner. If so try it! Cheap but great. Also try the tasty (but cheap as well) homemade wine

great place with friendly and helpful staff =)

This hostel was great for meeting people and the staff were great. It worked for me. Negatives were one locker for 6 people in a dorm, no air con and voracious mosquitoes. The owner cooked up some nice food available at reasonable prices. Drinks were also very reasonably priced.

The hostel us not really comfortable, not really cleaned but the atmosphere is nice. You have a small garden to relax yourself. Not easy to find the hostel!

Really enjoyed the staff at Arabas, Mama Dora absolutely cracked me up and allowed people to sleep on the couches in the lounge area if beds were full. They were also really helpful in planning our trip to Mt Olympus. The location though was a bit of a trek up the hill though.

The owner of the hostel is really friendly and cheerful. The location is good, an easy 10 min walk to the center. The rooms are quite packed with as many beds as possible so if people is quite' there shouldn't be a problem to sleep ... I had a great time here meeting people. The only thing I complain are mosquitoes, I was nearly eaten by them during the night!

Staff is very chilled and nice. Location a bit hilly but easy to walk to. Rooms are nice and hostel is generally welcoming. Would recommend it!

The hostel is quiet a hike from the train station, but its worth it. Upon arrival, I found a cosy hostel, with a good atmosphere, friendly staff who are happy to help, and a lot of likeminded travellers.
