Stayed in this guesthouse for 4 nights. Really nice staff, the rooms are spacious, large beds and clean. The common area is very cosy and the location is perfect: 3 minute walk from the centre, but far enough from the noise. (Around the corner is Golden Banana, their pool is very pretty, costs $2) If you want to go to Phnom Penh or further south and planning on taking the night bus, don't book it at the hostel or avoid Gold VIP! You pay for sleeping beds, toilet, 2 drivers - get none of them.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! Staff are so friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, very social atmosphere and super easy to meet people, Closed to night market, Pub street, Great value for money and loved my time at Tropical Breeze Siem Reap!

Simple guesthouse with basic amenities. Good location, very convenient to get to the pub street area. Guesthouse seemed a little old and dark but I guess it adds to the character of the place. Friendly owners who were helpful with arranging visits to the angkor site. Good value for money too, with a triple room with fan at 12bucks a night. Heat got to me on the last night and I paid extra for an AC room, no fuss there from the owners. Good stay (:

Staff was awesome, arranged bus and temple tours for us. Loved the water cooler to refill water bottles. Room was big and clean, beds were comfortable, easy walk to Pub Street and night market. Great place overall but if you're looking for backpacker digs, go next door to Downtown Siem Reap with the pool. Too many kids, couples and way too many Chinese tour groups. Other than that, enjoyed our stay!

Very nice place! Staff is really nice and helpful and are very good in english. Rooms are okey, but the aircon never really cools down the room properly. The big ceiling fan is good tho. 5 minute walk to pub street, old market and everything you need. I recomened to use their tuktuk service to places like angkor wat and floating market, to make sure u don't get ripped of by the ones that picks u up in the streets. The restaurant is good for breakfast and a drink. Also has a pool table.

Clean private rooms. Dogs barked most of the night so it wasn't as quiet as it might've been. Food was good, and well priced esp. compared to Pub St. The power went out 3 times during my 1 week stay, but that's not something the hostel can control. Reception guy (not owner) didn't give me correct time for my bus out of time, so I almost missed it, and there was no apology. Tuk tuk drivers through the hostel are polite, have limited English.

Some employees are not fit to be receptionists. My vacation was ruined due to this person who had poor communcation skills and poor memory recall. When we were computing for the total charges, he even forgot the TUKTUK charge (loss for the hotel if I did not remind him). However, when the final charge was computed, I was overcharged with my 2 day tour (what was agreed upon was 15 dollars per day - he shown me the rates only after the 2-day tour). I no longer argued about this. I was upset...

Nice place in Siem Reap! Walking distance to the market (though the town is small anyways). We got free pick up from our bus destination and had a guy drive us around the temples all day for 15 dollars (so 5 per person). Recommended! The place itself is really nice too, clean and big rooms!

They never made up the room, the staff speaks bad english, what led to communication problems concerning the payment and the highligt: they discoloured the washed laundry and accused us to be liars, cause we insited it was white before washing. furthermore 3 of 4 Lights didn"t work and there was no fridge or moskito net in the room (and a lot of moskitos)

Unfortunately when I arrived at the guesthouse, the electricity in the whole area was out, and remained out for the following three days I was there. However, occasionaly the power would come back on for a few minutes and when it id, the wifi was quick! The room was clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, the tuk tuk pick-up from the bus station was greatly appreciated. It was unbelievably good value for money with the standard of the room.

No electric when I arrived but 'assumed' the staff would have mentioned that. Went for a walk then returned hoping, assu ming the elctrics would be on. No such luck...and we had no water. Yeah, what an enjoyable night that was! Electric came on at 6am. When I returned from a day walking the wat's, again, no electric but I did have tepid water! An investment in a generator would be advisable. Staff were unresponsive and didn't care one way or the other if I left. I did.....

Great place to stay and good value for money. Room cleaned with strong hot shower. Good WiFi, free airport pick up, helpful and friendly staff. Very helpful in arranging a Tuk tuk for Angkor Wat. We booked a bus ticket (Giant Ibis) to Phnom Penh through them. The bus is really great free WiFi, a bottle of water and some snack. After 2 days we leave to Phnom Penh we heard that there was no electricity for whole city so we are lucky.

This guesthouse was ok, but the electricity went off for a whole day and night, and the staff weren't at all apologetic. They did charge us less, but didn't mention it at all. This meant there were no fans, ac , wifi, and we couldn'tt charge phones or laptops. Also, they ask you to take off your shoes and leave them downstairs and one of my flip flops was destroyed by a dog, so if you stay here, keep your shoes in your room!

I'm just a little disappointed that I was about to miss my bus the day of my departure because of not enough information about it. I wish someone could have given me more exact information. But thanks to the tuk-tuk driver I could get it in time! I also wish some people of the staff could be more smiling and say hello, but most of the staff was very kind and always smiling so my general feeling is positive anyway! You have a good guest house, a very good location and a wonderful city!

We had a great visit here. The staff were friendly and helpful the entire time. The location was good and we were able to get where we needed to go using the tuk tuk drivers at the guesthouse.

Hostel is perfect, only thing what is not good at all, is the service. We had diner and asked for NO spicy soup, the waiter/receptionist confirmed 3 times that it is not spicy. When I tasted it, Really spicy! No problem, recieved something else, but paying for both plates is not the way how it has to be! And it was really obvious that they want to sale you a lot and want to earn as much as possible on you! Not nice, having the feeling that you are a cashmachine! Happy guests or money???

Just a guest house with a cheap single room, good for solo travelers who need a break from dorms. Clean, but characterless.

First day, the wifi and A/C didnt work. Third day wifi didnt work. Fourth day trouble with wifi half of the time. The staff was rude and did'nt try to do much about the problems that occured. Our room (and the entire floor really) smelled like mole. Toilettes were dirty. And oh, the rooms could easily be locked up using just like a card or something in the keyhole.
