The city of Sorrento was quite asleep when I went there with my friend towards the end of November but our stay at Ulysse hostel was awesome. Everyone was really helpful at the front desk and helped us plan the rest of our trip on the Amalfi coast. Jozef at the reception was particularly friendly and funny. This is the hostel you want to go to in Sorrento. Worth a few extra euros. Greetings from Quebec, Canada.
Booked for a 6-bed dorm and got a a bed in a double room with private bathroom! Everything is clean and looks good but there's no kitchen or common room (just a normal hotel lobby) and the breakfast is not included (7€).
The staff helped organise a boat trip to Capri just for pur family which was the highlight of our stay. Rooms were very clean, breakfast kept us going all day. We couldn't fault the Ulisse Deluxe We had a great stay

would have liked internet access but lovely staff and accommodation - more like a hotel than hostel
This is a real surprise because it's a very nice hotel room for quite a cheap price. Excellent room facility with air conditioning, location isn't too bad, either. Staff at reception are professional, helpful, and gives good recommendations. We had a good stay.
The women at the front desk are lovely and accommodating, the men at night were not as much. One night the alarm went off and no one fixes it for hours which made it difficult to sleep. I requested a nice room because it was my birthday, but we got a family size room for a couple.. A little too big and it smelt damp. We did not have the breakfast because it was too expensive. On the positive side I did receive a email from the hostel wishing me happy birthday which was a nice surprise.
Very comfortable and clean hostel. Really close to the Main Street with shops and restaurants about 2 min walk. Great value for money as it is more of a hotel than hostel! I wouldn't stay here if you wanted to meet people/traveling alone/wanted to party as it doesn't have a hostel vibe. Overall really good place!
This is not a hostel but a hotel room they put bunk beds in. It was the smallest room I've ever stayed in, with 3 bunk beds crammed in there and only one tiny window. No lockers, we had to put our bags on the floor so there was barely room to walk across. The hotel itself is nice but not the shared rooms. No kitchen, no common room, I would actually call it a budget hotel not a hostel.
Awesome - pretty much a hotel! Staff were wonderful, they have a gym!!! Great location. Couldn't recommend it more!!
Love this hostel. In a former flash hotel which doesn't seem like a hostel. Staff is warm and friendly. I have stayed there 3 times in the last 4 years, only a few days, but they remember me and greet me warmly and give me my special room without me asking. Only downside is location, which is about a 20 minute walk from the train station, okay when you don't have luggage, but a pain pulling your bag over cobbled streets. Taxi fares are outrageous.
Unfortunatelly I could not stay at Ulisse Deluxe due to some issues with their booking system, but they sent me a mail in advance telling about the issue and they arranged another place to us. The other place was a B&B called Artis Domus where we got a complete apartment, very nice and the only thing that was not good was the breakfast that was very simple.
Great recommendation from your receptionist, the gal mentioned Chantecler and it was perhaps our favorite meal in three weeks traveling Italy!
