Great place to stay if you are looking for clean, quiet, cheap rooms that are close to the temples. It is a short 2USD tuk tuk ride to pub street and is across from the national museum.

Nice big clean hostel. Staff were for the most part polite, not the friendliest but were decent. The rooms were spacious and clean and worth the price in that respect. Not really a fun and homely feel to the hostel, but the facilities were good.

This guesthouse is great. The owner is brilliant so friendly and helpful. The staff are great it's like living in a family house and they are so helpful and thoughtful. The draught beer is the coldest in siem reap and really good value too. We are already making plans to go back there and we are still on our rtw trip.

Excellent value for money. Double bedrooms with comfy bed and equipped with AC, fan, fridge, tv, wardrobe, fast wifi, safe. Quite clean. They change your towel every day. Helpful and friendly staff. It’s conveniently located in between Angkor Wat and the city centre. You can rent bikes for $2/day. The only minus is the club next door which blasts its music every night.

Felt a lot more like a hotel as opposed to a hostel. Not many social points, other than in the dorm. The location is great is you plan on biking to the temples. They offer a bike rental very good price, and its much closer than staying by the river. If you plan to go out drinking most nights it's not ideal. The staff were lovely and all very helpful. Always had a smile on their face and said hello. Facilities generally good. Had a few problems with wifi on first day, but fixed itself afterwards.

Stayed here for 3 nights - nice place, best part was the owner who had a wealth of knowledge about the area, arranged us Tuk tuks for Angkor Wat, and even managed to sort us out a taxi to the border when we found out buses weren't running due to the New Year. Clean and nice, even if it was a little quiet. Good value restaurant with good food.

Very clean and new facilities, everything worked well and breakfast was tasty. 20 minute walk from pub street but closer to Angkor wat. Very comfortable stay but not much of an atmosphere. More hotel like than a hostel.

Very good matresses, good hostel and nice staff, the only weak is that it's far from the city center, you have to get a tuk tuk.

Great guesthouse, very clean and very cold beer! Not the closest to Pub Street ($2 tuk tuk - look for Batman!), but great value, clean and secure. Closer to Angkor Wat and temples, so easier for those early morning starts!

The airconditioning was a little weak but otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. We love the big bathroom.

This is a nice place to stay if you want to chill out a bit. The Cambodian staff are young and friendly and are up for a laugh. The Norwegian owner is like the BFG really nice bloke. Distinct lack of atmos but i could of been their at a quiet time, besides pub street is 2 mins on a bike away.

Very nice hostel up near the museum and en route to the temples. Could do with a few more people to make it a little livlier but it is newly opened so i am sure this will come with time. Staff are friendly and nice.

Situated between Siem Reap city center and Angkor park, max 2 km to both places. The friendly Norwegian owner has a great knowledge about Cambodia and he can give you good advice.

Velokommen is one of the nicest guesthouses I've stayed at in Asia. The prices are very reasonable, the place is clean, and the food is great. The Norwegian owner, Edwin, provides very helpful suggestions and strategies for getting around Siem Reap and Angkor Wat and they have a Tuk Tuk driver they can call for you for those 5AM sunrise mornings. Rooms have AC, rooms cleaned daily, and the wifi is blazing fast!

I really like this hostel, especially the staff! They really putted effort to give me the feeling of being at home. Besides that, I loved the location, because it is on the way that directly leads to the Angkor Wat. Rent a bike if you want to visit the centre of the city, only 2 dollars and you directly sponsor a charity program. The only thing that I didn't like were the high prices for breakfast. Overall, I highly recomend this hostel!

A friendly guest house away from the city centre (but only a 15 minute walk if you want to go to it). The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly, and helped with finding a tuk tuk driver to use for my stay. Food served was good quality and the rooms were clean. Another big advantage of this guest house is that they have their own generator so if there is a power cut (I had a power cut in Siem Reap for over 2 days of my stay) they can still run most essential equipment. Highly recommended
