The only problem is the air-con is not working and I slept like in a Sauna, though the staff tried to help which is a good point.

Beautiful building, spacious, clean, artistic, excellent common areas, location was terrific, company was quality. Probably the best hostel I have stayed at in Europe.

The room was not located in the main building of the hostel; no wifi inside the room; a bit overpriced ( ~ 25 EUR / night) although it's peak season.

The breakfeast is always important for me in a hostle and the breakfeast at vertigo vieux-port was great.""" It was clean, and safe.. But the terrace was a joke !!!!!!???? I had in my mind that the terrace was on the top of a roof, loking down at the boats at the port ? The terrace was only a smoking place on the ground level!!?? vertigo vieux-port had two places ? opposite eachoder? we didn,t know this when we arrived? so people had breakfest in two different kichen? whitch was god for us.

Very cozy! The bathrooms are nice and clean! And the wifi does get to the rooms, only that sometimes it takes a while.. A thought it was a little expensive, but.. And that is my only complaint.. IT IS A GREEEAT Hostel! :) loved it!

Overall positive experience, though the toilet was out of flushing water in my room. Good hostel with nice staff at this price.

Very well located hostel, and great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpfull with directions and tips on what to do in the city. Breakfast and kitchen were simple but enough for what you'll need. Had a great time here =)

Had a great stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful, dorms were comfortable, breakfast was included, location was good. Would definitely stay here again. Only complaint is that the walls are paper thin and was sometimes woken up by people in adjacent rooms. Other than that everything was great.

The hostel is very well located, near from supermarkets, restaurants, bars, boites, the room has lockers. I recommend this hostel and the ohter next to the train station. The breakfast is very simple, so I think the hostel is a little bit over valued....but in France hostels are more expensive than the rest of the world.

Although wifi didn't work in the kitchen area and sometimes the signal was weak in the room, I really liked that the room was spacious. There were also enough plug-ins for everyone so no one had to wait to charge their stuffs. Baguettes were really good too! The atmosphere is great, and the location is also great! Old port and metro down the hill in 5 min and Notre Dame de la Garde up the hill in 15~20 min! Lastly, the staffs were very kind too :) I had a great stay here

nice hostel with a lot of character and space. Nice living room, friendly staff,... I would advise to put lockers in the rooms as well as some hooks on the walls to hang clothes on. further try to find a system to keep the bathroomdoor open when not in use, to avoid humidity.

The hostel has great decor, is rather clean, and the staff is helpful, but the ambiance was a bit lacking. An excellent hostel all round.
