I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The location was central to the old port and town, easy to get to walking or catching the metro from the central train station. Very clean, helpful staff. Thanks.

I liked the stay. Something what was annoying was the noise during night at the "living room" in Vertigo B. It was kind of difficult to sleep while there is so much noise.

Great and helpful staff. Good location. The only concern is about the security. The three building are separate. People can easily go the building A from the back door in the day time where no staff is there. And building C is a bit not secured either. It's just another room surrounded by other rooms and houses that doesn't belong to the hostel. Hostel B's door was wide open in the day time. I know there's electric lock to the rooms but I just don't feel comfortable.

The hostel is situated in the most perfect spot - literally two minutes from the Vieux Port which is where all the action happens- perfect! The hostel itself is very well equipped; big fridge in the kitchen to store your own food and sufficient utensils to make your meals at the hostel and thus economise. The rooms were spatious and clean. The staff is exceptional - they take time to give you great advice and guidence. In many hosetls the wifi is weak - but not here! Loved my stay at Vertigo =D

The staff was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful, and our room was wonderful--two stories and great bathroom/showers, with a tree-house-style room! There's an area for free breakfast, a computer lab that's free to use, and they let you leave your luggage for the day. And it's very close to city center--about a five minute walk.

The staff was very friendly even though not helpful with things to do in the area except for one. He did not have change for the laundry detergent and I told him I can give him the €1 in the morning when my friend wakes up. He was very insistent and have me €9 of change in 20cent coins!!! Decent size locker for valuables. No storage for bags. Cereal and slice of baguette for brekky. Tiny kitchen: electric stove, microwave and sink. Hostel on smelly little st. Walk through plaza from metro!

To highlight the extreme professionality of all the staff: frm cleaning ladies, to receptionits. it is not the cheapest place in the world, especially in summertime... But really nice atmosphere, of happyness and respect.

Our room was great. We had 5 beds and an ensuite washroom and shower plus a second ensuite shower. We were only there for the night so didn't get to hang out in the living room area but it looked comfy.

We had a separate room/loft situation, which was lovely for a large group. Great addition of a kitchen and full bath.

Pros: Location is right near the port. Staff did try to be helpful and were friendly. Free breakfast but only cereal and bread. Lockers (would fit a backpack only) in rooms. Cons: Showers while hot had no water pressure and you have to hold the shower head yourself. The sound insulation is not great so you hear everyone in the hallways. Our room keycard stopped working every day so we had to get it refreshed.
