Booked an 8 bed room, which was in a totally different area of the hostel. In fact, it was like our own little flat with its own kitchen and dining area. Access was by key though, and doesn't require going through the main hostel, which isn't very secure. Common room closes at 11.30pm or something, seemed to be different for each staff member on. Shower could've done with something to hold it on the wall.

I stayed only for one night in a womens dorm. The Staff was very kind and helpfull . The hostel was easy to find just by following the map. I was also allowed to have breakfast earlier than usuall because I left really early in the morning. Generally a nice hostel I would recomend anyone to visit.

I stayed in this hostel for 5 nights out of the 6 that I was in Marseille and prefer it to one which is actually rated higher as it is a more interesting building. I spent 3 nights in a two bed room in the annex (room 2B) which was a very nice room but on one night the sound from a new club that has opened was unbearable however the manger dealt with my complaint very well and moved me to a much quieter 4 bed room.Room 1 in the old building. The hostel hopes to stop the music being a problem

I liked this hostel, the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was close to everything. The rooms are huge too, one would think they'd be able to fit lockers in them for our security...

Put some lockers in the additional new dorms!!! Lockers are essential to any dorm-user.

Only a hot plate for cooking and only one so difficult if you are cooking or if someone else needs to as well. Could do with some more cutlery especially at breakfast. Basic breakfast of cereal and fresh baguettes. Neat set up to the rooms. Bunk beds a bit noisy and flimsy. Walls are very thin and you can hear people in the next rooms easily. No really luggage lockers in room. Only a locker with shelves and not enough for the people in the room. Nice showers

Clean bathrooms, comfy beds, good WIFI. Not a very social hostel, there wasnt much of a common area to mingle.

Perfect location, good staff, secure apartment-style room layout. Big rooms with good, clean ensuites. Beds were comfy. Best breakfast I had had in a long time by the time I got here too. Everything you could want. Marks knocked off for character, only in that there was nothing much characteristic or Marseillais to the place.

Every year I come back to the city to meet friends and just to be in town. I always stay in this hostel, for a woman alone is the hostel friendly, clean and safe. Important it's not to expensive and central. You can easily book your place in advance. There are rooms for women only, that sleeps a lot quieter (after a day Marseille-city) There is no limit of ages and there are also people staying who are working in the city. So there is a beautiful meetingmix of all kinds of people. I love it.

I enjoyed the stay a lot, staff was nice and the location really good. Little draw back was the doors closing with quite some sound but if you bring ear plugs if you are sensitive it's fine.

The only negative aspect regards the architectonical structure...In some rooms there is a structure located on the bed so if you don`t realize about it you can take a strong hit in your head...Yes I took it! and it makes me very damage.

Very nice facilities with a kitchen. I was traveling solo for the first time and felt very comfortable here. I would definitely return!

Excellent and helpful staff! I was put into a mixed-room, instead of the booked girl's-room, and they refunded me a portion of my stay. The kitchens and common areas were extraordinarily clean, and so was my room. Nothing bad to say except that they are about a 10-min walk (uphill and on a tiny sidewalk) from either underground exit.

This was one of the better hostels I've stayed in- great staff, interesting travelers, and small yet comfortable common area for cooking or just relaxing. If you're coming to Marseille, stay here!

The facilities were all large and clean which was great. The staff was friendly and generally helpful in guiding you through your stay. However, the internet didn't work any of the 4 days i stayed there. I was continually told they were working on fixing it which clearly wasn't true. This is completely unacceptable - especially for someone traveling alone with no way to contact others. At least don't lie and say things are getting fixed when they aren't. Besides that my stay was really enjoyable
