The facilities were all large and clean which was great. The staff was friendly and generally helpful in guiding you through your stay. However, the internet didn't work any of the 4 days i stayed there. I was continually told they were working on fixing it which clearly wasn't true. This is completely unacceptable - especially for someone traveling alone with no way to contact others. At least don't lie and say things are getting fixed when they aren't. Besides that my stay was really enjoyable

Pros. Single beds only (no bunk beds!) and 4 woman's dorm available. Big lockers available to everybody and bathroom to every dorm. Decent breakfast with fresh baguettes purchased every morning. Cons. No interaction between travelers with no one inter mingling even at breakfast. A cleaner passed through every day but didn't seem to pass through upstairs through the bedrooms and the bathroom still looked to be in the same state it was in the morning. The bathmats were not replaced either.

facilities are good, kitchen is not enough. hard to find somebody who speaks english but location is great. so it is not a problem.

Great experience! Helpful staff, nice breakfast, very comfortable rooms plus good location and cool character of the kitchen and common room ( do you like Paris-like street cafes? :) add up to a very pleasant stay. Small disadvantages though: a small gap between door and floor so it gets quite noisy in the morning; and an early check out with an early breakfast leave you not much time to sleep on the day of your departure. But, all in all, it was very good and we'd definitely stay there again.

Very good WE there, better than I expected. Helpful staff, clean place, confortable beds in the twin bedroom, 2 kitchens with many facillities, good french breakfast in the morning, good location. Several common rooms with different atmospheres. Many foreign travellers to meet and celebrate St Patrick's day nicely. The best hostel in France so far. A few minus with the noise on Saturday night, coming from a local bar, and the leaving time too early (10am). I RECOMMAND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

This was a very social hostel! One of the best I've stayed at during my time in Europe. I would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

The best hostel I've ever lived in ! The dorm is very lovely. Very comfortable and good place to meet interesting people.

We missed individual lights for each bed, as well as things to hang our clothes on (in the dorm and in the bathroom).

Superb location, great, clean facilities - I was in a 4 bed female dorm, it's like a loft studio room with bathroom, toilet downstairs, bedroom upstairs. However, the place just lacks liveliness, not a place where you can meet others or hang out. They say the Central hostel is better for that, they have even a bar to socialize with others, this aspect is completely missing from here, therefore not the best for individual travellers ( just to loners, really).

Really good hostel.

This is a very nice place to stay. It is near the old Port , clean , safe and the staff is extremly helpful. They recommended me a trip to Cassis which was wonderful. Would definitely stay again there. Some additional hooks in the room would be great. I recommend this Hostel. Stayed for one week there and had a great time. Michael, Berlin, Germany

Nice character, just a few things solala: No lamps at the beds (so no bed reading in the late evenings), no WiFi in the rooms (no reseach possible), checkout at 10am is too early to enjoy the last nigh and: Just one hotplate for around 30 beds means waiting for cooking. Little things, if they were improved: Good hostel!

Silent and cimfortable

clean, smelled good, the people were nice and helpful, i just stayed one night and thought it was perfect.

The hostel is in a fantastic location, right near the Vieux Port. Our room was really clean, and quiet and even had a skylight! 24 hour reception is a plus, and we always felt very safe.

The hostel itself is great, huge rooms, awesome common room. But the kitchen is less than satisfying. Also the staff is polite and helpful but don't participate to the atmosphere at all. Also the hostel is separated in two buildings, which kind of breaks the atmospehere.

Absolutely lovely hostel! The staff were great, the rooms were clean and tidy and the facilities were very well managed. The hostel staff assisted me with whatever I needed (laundry, doctor, town plans) I am so impressed with this hostel! Definitely 5 stars!
