More like a hotel than a hostel. Huge, with 3 different buildings, so not much socializing, and there are as many families as backpackers. The rooms are nice but the bathrooms are in the rooms, and doors are VERY LOUD, so if anyone uses the bathroom or comes in at night, everyone will wake up. Also somewhat pricey for a hostel. But it is right by the old port and breakfast is included. Also very nice lounges and kitchens.

Hi, It is a bit exagerated to say that there are as much families as backpackers. But as you know, people can book on the internet and there is no way we can refuse them access... We are sorry if there were not enough solo travellers for you to meet when you were here. All the best

It was a really cool hostel to stay at even just for one night. Staff was friendly and it was in a nice location and clean rooms. The only thing is there were no towels and not even to rent or buy from the hostel. The place that was recommended to go buy towels they were 15 euro or more and we were able to get some cheap ones from walking around to different stores for 8 euro. That was a huge down side as we had to waste our money and time to get a towel when it could be clearly stated online.

Hi, There was a little misunderstanding. We had no towels left to rent. We have towels but not for everyone. Usually only a few people need them. We bought more already so hopefully it won't be a probleme anymore... All the best,

Great hostel. Rooms were big and comfortable. I liked having the bathrooms inside the room. Nice amenities and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

location is good. staffs are nice and good at English. but pillow and blanket are smelly.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Hi, We are very sorry about the smell, we sent all the blankets back when we realised it. There was a problem with the company's dryer. It is the first time ever it happened....

My stay in 2015 was also as agreeable as in 2014. Near habour and town center, clean kitchen and friendly staff. Wifi works only good near reception but there are also 2 computers to use for free

Staff weren't very nice, always had friends they were more interested in, no towels to borrow, not very nice location away from most attractions, and kind of a sketchy street. Overall not a great experience at this hostel.

Great hostel, excellent location near metro and walking distance to all attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Very spacious 4 bed dorm (others would have squeezed in another 4 bunks easily) with clean and well maintained bathroom and toilet. Breakfast was always plentiful with cereal options, breads and spreads etc. great stay thanks!

We had nothing to complain about at this hostel. Good facilities, good staff. Nothing to exceptional, but exactly what you want in a budget hostel.

Great hostel! Staff was super nice and helpful. It was very clean and close to where I wanted to be. Only issue was the music coming from a nearby nightclub on my last night. The hostel was responsive and moved me to a different room.

French breakfast is included. Internet does not work in the room.

It was clean and tidy. There was a mini supermarket around the corner. Shower could do with some work though, had to use it as a hand held shower, due to it not staying in place. Wifi only worked in the common area, other than that was ok.

Shower was scary, no curtain, no towels, dirty floor

Hey! We are so sorry you got this feeling in the shower.... Although, towels are not included in the price. We'll keep an eye open on the floors, the problem is, with 8 people in the room, everybody needs to try and respect the housekeeper's work! Some people don't care at all.... and it is too bad I agree with you...
