We most likely chose the worst time to go to Marseille being the middle of the winter. This hostel didn't really give us a reason to stay. The rooms were big and roomy but the general areas lacked a friendly homey feel... Again probably due to it being only long term residents staying there...

The breakfast was very good and the rooms were clean and very big. The bathrooms were clean and the whole hostel is very comfortable. But there was only one hotplate in the kitchen, that is not enough.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is very good, between the trendy port area and the lovely church on the hill which overlooks the whole city. We were originally booked in the largest dorm, but were upgraded to a 4-bed ensuite dorm upon our arrival (at the same price as our original booking) when the large dorm was closed. The staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was baguette, cereal, honey, Nutella, jam, butter, tea, coffee, and juice.

I was very pleased with the hostel's facilities. Although the location was in what seemed a rather shady area, it was close to the main attractions and I had a memorable experience in Marseille! I would definitely recommend this hostel and cannot wait to visit the beautiful city again!

A perfect, quaint hostel that offers great value for the price. The atmosphere promoted a relaxed, comfortable environment, and would be suited for all ages.

Everything is fairly good. One detail should be mentioned is that we reserved a 8-beds room and because of not being booked fully we are changed to a 4-beds room. So considerate the staffs are!

This is one of the best hostels that I've ever stayed at. It was at a great location, very close to major tourist attraction. There were lots of restaurants nearby, and metro station was within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and beds are super large. Wifi and breakfast were provided. Staffs are nice and helpful. I would definitely choose this hostel again. One negative point: they charge for towel, even though with a small money, but it would be better if it's free.

It's the best hostel I meet until now! only 11euros I enjoyed breakfast, clean room, big single bed, and 3other nice roomates. our room is the top, with a view to the blue sky! And we have seperated shower and washing rooms. the kitchen is cleaned 2 a day, and the TV sallon, Chatting sallon is incrediblely excellent. walk 5 minutes we arrived the central port! I will stay there again.

Very good located hostel. Clean 100%, all is new. Rooms are big, clean with enough place for your things and very well decorated. Marseille is not very clean, so you will not like the street where the hostel is, but once inside you will feel very good. Recommended 100%

The hostel is nice and clean, with cheerful atmosphere. Location ok, a bit hilly (but that's typical Marseille), central enough to just walk to the attractions. The staff are all nice and very helpful. I had to leave early in the morning to catch my flight...and they made sure the breakfast is served earlier so that I could grab something before leaving :)
