It was very dark and dinghy. We had a double room but the ved was very hard and uncomfortable. There was no hot water, the room was cold and you felt like you were in a prison cell. The breakfast was coffee, milk and coco pops with a few slices of bread. The hostal was between a pub and club so was really noisy, it was loud music all through the night and when the music stopped there was a constant strem of traffic. Much nicer hostels in the area, I dont usualy write reviews but was awful.

Overall, I really liked the hostel. My room was nice and the building was beautiful. The location is pretty good, though at the edge of the Candelaria -- still very close to the Transmilenio and places to eat. Unfortunately, there was a loud group while I was there and though they were friendly, it was often hard to sleep because the hostel was frequently too loud. The staff was generally nice and helpful when I asked questions, but seemed ambivalent.

Awesome place. Staff and residents very helpful and accommodating. Only thing would be that shower/toilet facilities are very average.
