A nice clean place to stay, a superior room is tiny, but has got everything you need including hair dryer. The stuff is friendly and helpful and offer the best and detailed city center map. Free welcome drink, coffee and bananas were delicious! They also have a good and fast laundry service.

This hostel is run by a very nice family! They were very helpful with everything. The Hostel is very clean, well kept, and quiet, and in walking distance to all the major sights.

The staff are very helpful and offer a variety of trips and services. We opted for their offer of an airport pick up and although our plane was 3 hours late the staff were there to greet us. The rooms are basic but good for what you pay and are very clean. The trip to the cu chi tunnels was very good. Excellent location for the bars in the backpacker area and walkable to all sights.

Staff is very friendly, very central location, though a bit hard to find (though that is normal for Saigon)

If you want an unbeatable first impression of Vietnam and you enter via HoChiMinh book into Vy Khanh Guest house. Their motto is "arrive as guests leave as friends". That is so true. Vy has such a friendly approach to everything she does, nothing is too much trouble. We entered Vietnam via HCM and left from there, our first and last impressions of Vy Khanh were a reflection of our whole trip. Absolutely wonderful. I cant say enough, perhaps- hospitality like we have not witnessed anywhere else!

Despite a mix-up on the first night, we had a great stay. Ms Vy made sure we were happy and took pains to make things right. Her family is extraordinarily kind and helpful.

Facilities are average but its the service and the staff that really make this hostel an amazing place to stay in my opinion.

I'm not the best judge because i was only there from 12:30 am-11am. place was incredibly clean with very comfortable large rooms with cable TV with many English channels, located right in Bouy Vien area but far enough away to not be bothered by the backpacker mess, staff was all very nice, welcoming, and helpful. MINOR complaints-walls a bit thin and it seemed like it may be hard to meet others, but again i was there for 12 hours.

Ms. Vy and her family were SO accommodating and helpful with any questions I had or help I needed. I felt very welcomed and at home. The room was the best I've had in SE Asia for the cost. Very clean, new and comfortable.

The cleanliness of the hostel is the star quality of this accommodation. The wifi is good. The bed and pillow is comfortable. It will be good if you can add a small kettle into each room for boiling water to make hot drinks.

The staff are the sweetest people and really want to help you out. I thought the location was great. It was located in the backpacker district in a small alley.

All the people there are very kind and helpful. The hostel is small, but is close to good restaurants, parks, and transportation. It's exceptionally clean. I will stay there again when i visit Ho Chi Minh City.

This is a lovely little place in the backpacker area. The rooms were basic but clean and the beds were comfy. Most of all the staff are really friendly and helpful - we'd left Ho Chi Minh and returned after several weeks - we went back to the hostel to see if we could drop our bags for the day and they were really happy to help, free of charge.

Great location, close to pubs and street food. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Appreciated being us across the busy roads on arrival/departure. Detailed map from Ms Vy most helpful. Tucked away in an alleyway gave the place character into life in HCMC whilst ensuring a quiet night's rest. Showers still only lukewarm despite turning it on more than 5 mins but hot water not necessary given the heat in HCMC.
