In regards to atmosphere it's a hostel. I slept in a private room so there isn't much atmosphere as there's load to do out of the hostel. Which the hostel itself will help you with. The staff are great and friendly. It's like a family environment. With its location in the backstreets, walking through them makes your feel like a local a wonderful experience in itself. Highly recommend this place.
The family that owns this hostel are so nice and helpful. They told us the best places to go and booked us for the cheapest cabs and included a map with detailed description of district 1. It's a pretty compact hostel but the owners make the stay worth it. I would definitely come back.
The hotel owner Ms Vy is very accomodating person. She always sees to it that she gave proper information of a must places to see or to eat and takes time to chat with her guests. The guesthouse is so clean, the beddings and towels are changed everyday. And the wifi is good too. They are indeed worth to be considered as no. 1 hostel in every aspect. We get bus ticket from them going to phomn pehn, when we were not picked up, she accompanied us to bus office and even carry the luggage of my pal.
Really nice and helpfull family; when we had to wait for the night bus they even offered to shower in the family bathroom. Also clear information about nice highlights in the city. We felt really welcome. Would really recommend this hostel.
Vy was great, she supported us in so many things which makes travelling much more easy! Nice coffee everyday made the stay really really comfortable

We booked a private, so our room was across the street. It is very new, clean, safe and in the heart of the backpacker's district. If you're planning on walking around HCMC, it is in a decent location, but not the best. If your in the city to hang out with other backpackers - a great location. The lounge area is small, so a little hard to meet people actually in the hostel, easy outside though. The hostel's proprietor in the main building is very interesting and opinionated, always willing
Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond with assisting us with bookings, advice and orientation without being pushy or sales driven, just straight forward objective advice! Would definitely return and reccommend. The rooms themselves are quiet, absolutely spotless and great value!

The staff are amazing and will take time to help you in any way they can! Lovely place definitely well worth a visit if your in Saigon!
The location was great and the staff were very accommodating. Very friendly and always went out of there way to ensure you enjoyed your stay.
location is very good stuff are very friendly, everything is very good:D
Nice room in a quiet & central location. The room was large and very clean. The ladies who run the guesthouse are friendly and helpful and provided us with an excellent map including food and drink recommendations and personalised advice on what to see and do in the city. An iced welcome drink is a nice touch. They kept luggage for us when we went to the Mekong Delta. Laundry service was cheap and fast ($1/kg). Stairs to the room were a bit cramped and a little tricky to manage with a rucksack.
