Great hostel right in the backpackers area of Saigon and only a 10 minute walk from the central market. Room was great with a very comfy double bed, tv and really nice bathroom. Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They even organised private transportation for me to the airport at a price lower than a taxi. Would definitely stay here again - highly recommended.

My husband and I had a great time at Ho Chi Minh City, thanks to the warm hospitality and excellent service of Madame Vy and her staff. Looking forward to visiting again and highly recommend it to everyone. Ma. Cristina Hernandez

Very helpful staff in a great location.

Vy stays all day long at the hostel; she is really nice and gives you a hand made map with all the tourist information needed (main places to visit, museums time tables, etc).

Nice owners, helpful, clean.... just a little walk of 10min to the city.

As I got to stay in three different guest houses in this area, this was the best. My only mistake was not booking enough nights. The word is out and this place is hard to book. If she has an opening for your dates book them. And if you have a return date to HCMI book your return early too. Great place, great people, great room, and great value. But don't take my word for it, just they here and then go any place in a five block radius... Nicer than the two star hotel I booked for my last night..

Staff were lovely and friendly. It was our first day on the road and we appreciated the extra help from the staff. We are planning to stay again after we come back from hanoi.

I really enjoy my stay at Ho Chi Minh City because of the warm hospitality of Vy Khanh Guesthouse. When we first arrived, we were welcomed with a cold drink and after that, Ms Vy did not hestitate to guide us around Ho Chi Minh City and warn us about touts and thefts who snatch your belongings on a motorcycle. Later, she also helped us booked the Golden Water Puppet show and the Cu Chi Tunnels tour which made our trip much more convenient. I really enjoy the stay there. Highly recommended! :D

The staffs are warm and friendly. I appreciate the services provided to both my friend and me. The room is comfortable and clean. The location is good to get around to many places. i enjoy my stay there. Highly recommended!!

The private room had airco, fresh towels and a good shower. Just stayed for one night but facilities were excellent.

Great Hostel located right in the heart of Saigon. Rooms are great with short walks to all the major attractions. Ms Vy and her family who also live there are extremely friendly and welcoming! Upon check in she provides you with a map with attractions highlighted and recommendations on where to eat (definitely go to the Pho place it is extremely good). She also booked my train ticket to Hoi An and a day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels (also highly recommended) which was a huge help!

Mr and Mrs Vy and their family are lovely and so helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean, huge comfortable bed. We felt as though we were staying in a boutique hotel. Great location in a quiet street just off De Tham. We were sorry to only be staying 2 nights.

I was only here for one night but they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Also after I checked out they kept my bag for me as I wasn't leaving on the train until 9pm. Ideal location and owners have a lot of information on where to go/see.

Homely feeling!! We definitely enjoyed our time here. Great position for daily trips. We were also generally surprised on the quality of the rooms and these were cleaned each day. On arrival we were told all about the city and were provide with a map that showed details about good and clean places to eat, sites to explore and activities available.

Ms Vy was very helpful during our stay in HCMC. Upon arrival, she served us with refreshments and briefed us on the attractions and things to do and eat around the city, even with a map for our reference. Would definitely return to stay if I do come back to HCMC, which is very likely. Thumbs up!

We had a perfect stay at the hostel. Clean, nice rooms, good location, and very friend staff. We will come back!
