We stayed at Wada hostel for 2 nights and 3 days and it was just awesome. If i liked anything in guilin, that was the hostel itself. Even if you are not travelling, I am pretty sure your stay will be sufficient here.

The location is perfect - walking distance from the train station & situated inside a fenced compound for added security. There is also a nearby flea market every morning for a taste of local color.. The hostel is clean and rooms spacious & tastefully decorated. Hot & cold showers and purified water are readily available. But most of all, the staff are very friendly and speak English well! They are very cheerful & always ready to help out travelers. Special mention to Junee, Monica & Jason

The staff were wonderful and gave a real personal service. The only downside was the food, I had two breakfasts and a lunch there and didn't enjoy any; luckily, the coffee was good.

Your hostel is amazing and just about perfect! The staff are the best I've ever come across, the layout and atmosphere are awesome. If I was to add anything or change anything maybe add mats outside the shower door because as the shower/toilet floor floods.. No one like wet feet walking through the room! Other then that my stay was perfect and did not want to leave:)))

Place to stay in Guilin! It is near a mall and street food. They also have good tours to the Rice Fields. The place feels like home with all the books, dvds and hang out space. Dumpling day was cool! :D Staff was super helpful, really good english! And never annoyed even dough I was always bothering them. Dorms have lockers, are cleaned everyday and each bed has curtains for privacy. Wish I could have stayed more time! Bus station very near (in front of the shopping mall)

Staff were super friendly and the communal area was perfect for backpackers as well as families. Great value for the money and I highly recommend Wada House as a great place to relax as you plan your journey to Yangshuo or the Rice terraces.

The rooms themselves could be a little bit bigger. There's no sitting equipment vor the people who sleep in the upper beds. It is hard to air the rooms, so it was a little bit smelly and also the noise comes through the walls easily. But the bar / cafe / reading room etc. and the staff was GREAT!

Nice place- great banana pancakes for breakfast. Great organisation of tours. My only issue (and this isn't the Hostels fault) On the Rice Terrace tour that they organised for me-the guide who took us up the hill just left our group at the top of the Rice terrace and went back down without telling us- we had to find our own way back down the hill. When you get to the train or bus station -face the road and turn right at the intersection-If Id known that I woulnt've been ripped off by a taxi 25Y

Fantastic hostel! I got the airport pickup and the owner came at 11 at night. Had a good chat with her. The girls on staff are incredible. Super friendly, super helpful, lots of ideas. The location is close to the train and bus stations, just a short walk, and there are lots of shops around. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back!

This was a really nice hostel. The staff were great and they had a lot of useful information. The common area was lovely and my room was clean and secure. I enjoyed my stay here.

The personnel are nice and helpful, they have all the facilities you would expect from a hostel, and the location is conveniently located close to street stalls, restaurants and the bus station. The slightly bad point I would mention is the breakfast: it is minimalistic and although I had it for half price, it think it was hardly worth what I paid for. But here again, nothing substantially different from any other hostel in China.

Love this place! Staff were so nice and actually hung out with the guests by the bar and played some dice- as a solo traveler it was appreciated. Place is clean, you can get a nice breakfast, and they were helpful in organizing trips to the Longji rice terraces and the Li River. Also had a pool table.

Everything was perfect except one thing, the only problem was for hang clothes because there were always lots of extended sheets and wé didn't have enough espace to extend our clothes. But except this détail, everything was perfect. Thank you for everything and Thumbs up for WADA !

Only stayed for one night. Great place, helpful staff. It was really cold as it was February and so the addition of electric blankets was a real plus point.
