We loved our stay here, the staff are great, it's not far from the train station and there's so much stuff in the common room - free pool, board games, films, Wii. The dumpling party was cool and we got on really well the other guests. It's definitely worth rented the bikes and heading out of the city for a day trip if you have time.

WD4 place 2 stay as I stayed there twice during my entire trip, I took the LI River tour from the reception which is 30RMB higher than the price listed in the other hostel but it was a fabulous one and worth of going .HOWEVER, NEVER EVER pay for the extra tour which is totally waste of time. it's a place where you can meet people and doing laundry for free.

This hostel has everything that you will ever need. Huge common area with pool table and movie room. Their cook is very good and all the food is delicious. Also a great place to meet fellow travelers.

It is the best hostel I've stayed in China. Great location that only 5mins walk from the airport shuttle stop, 10mins walk from the train station , you can get all you want from the big shopping mall that is only 2mins walk. The best staff could help you with everything you need to travel around China. The big warm comman area. Clean rooms, NEW air-con, electic-blanket would make you warm like at home

This is one of my favorites in China. The staff are very knowledgeable and always willing to give excellent, in-depth advice to enrich your travels. The hostel has a great vibe and is a great place to sit back and relax while enjoying the many free amenities. Rooms had great security and character and the beds were very comfortable.

Staff were willing to try and help with whatever question or problem you had. Really fun and entertaining environment. The heated blankets and hot shower were bonuses!

I was here for one night, at late times of the night and morning as I was only stopping for the night to catch a connecting plane the next day, so to begin with the staff were fun, friendly and cool. Then later one staff member was quite tired but manning the bar and wasn't very helpful and appeared over-worked and tired to the point were she was hunched over the desk counting money and seemed like she didn't want to be disturbed. Other than that, I absolutely loved the Wada! Cool concept.

dunno why people say the location is bad... you can walk from the train/bus station and to get to the center the bus 10 is running all the time... the beer a bit expensive for China ;-)

We stayed in a dorm, which was a little small, but clean. Bathroom was good. Large common room/restaurant where they organize some activities as well. Staff is friendly and the bus stop is right in front of the hostel

A really nice and cozy hostel. The staff speaks english and can help you with anything! Location is great if you're just staying one night but if you are doing sightseeing in Guilin you are a bit far from everything

Staff was super nice and helpfull! Thanks! Place has great character. It was clean and even has own bathrooms in dorms. Only slight fault was that I paid little extra of Breakfast, because didn't notice that there was discount of breakfast and nobody mention it while i ordered the more pricey choise. But still would really highly recommend this place while in Guilin. Superb!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We didn't have a reservation and as there were no more private rooms we got a 4 bed dorm with huge beds and that warmed up very quickly for the price of the private room. We didn't really like the like-me-like-me character of the hostel. Theyre constantly , explicitly and implicitly, trying to push you to give them 100% rating on hostelworld... We would however definitely return! Btw, try the lamb sticks on the market on the corner!
