They have a lot of facilities: billiard, a bar, games, bikes for rent, Wifi, DVD room, liabrary, tour books, computers. Really cool place also for winter time as they have heating-pads in bed so that you are really warm during the night. Really nice atmosphere and we were lucky that they had a great deal that breakfast was included. So really excellent service, nice staff, and cool location! Only thing: They could modernize the bathrooms.

Great hostel, great staff and nice facilities. Breakfast was good as well and the rooms were clean and nice. Guilin is though not the most exciting city during winter.

The team at Wada Guilin are great, friendly, ever-present, and with good English. They arranged good tours of local must-sees (if only they could get the weather to co-operate too!), and have lots of good advice. They even went the extra mile to help me when I lost photos transferring them from my phone (I have managed to recover some of them, fortunately). The lockers are a good size, and I liked the curtains around the bunk beds - I could pretend I was in a four-poster bed like a princess.

My stay was wonderful. The staff were welcoming and very helpful! The environment was so inviting and relaxing, and everyone was so hospitable! I didn't quite have a plan for what I wanted to do, and the bartender planned a whole cheap day for me! They were knowledgeable about the area and the circumstances. Over all a wonderful stay :)

Fantastic hostel. The girls working there are concrentrate on getting all the details right. They are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about Guilin and Guangxi province. They can also whip up a great 回锅肉! The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The location is also good for getting around town as its connected to all the major sites in the city by a short bus ride. Stellar.

The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and full of charm. Gramps doing security played his Chinese violin at the bar one night and it was lovely. You'll regret staying anywhere else ;)

The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and speak excellent English. Great location, easy to get to from the train station with the directions given online. We got free breakfast as a winter promotion, which was the best one I had in China. Would certainly stay here again!

You definitely get more than you paid for. The staff was spectacularly awesome! BBQ and dumpling nights were great. You can't go wrong here, everything seemed so easy when I made this place my base for a few days. Definitely would recommend.

very nice hostel close to the train station but about a 20 min walk to the center. very clean and friendly. pool table for free. secure wifi for facebook and youtube. hot shower. except from the location nothing to lament about. if you rent a bike the deposit is 800 per bike. they have a happy hour every day from 8 to 10pm with reduced coctail prices and all you can eat bbq on fridays (it is really ALL you can eat).

Perfect hostel. One of the staff members even gave me a massage and was super friendly (forgot her name - short hair, glasses, usually has day shift). Made my stay wonderful.

Everything was very smooth. We were allowed in at 5am by an employee who let us relax in the lobby until the front desk opened while he played an erhu for us. They had maps and lockers and helped us with advice about the city. The only drawback was the deposit for the bike rental was a bit high so we were unable to do that.

Lovely Wada Girls :) We had so much fun in your hostel, it was the best 2 nights on our whole trip through East Asia. The ambience was terrific, you can't pay with money for that. You organized our day trips to the rice terraces and Yangshuo so well. And the BBQ night was legendary, we enjoyed it so hard! We will always come back to your place. Thank you, Philipp

Located in the centre of Guilin. Staff were really friendly, learning your name and all of them spoke superb English. The hostel was clean and comfy and the food was good. The barbecue night was really good value for money at 30 RMB each and was an excellent chance to meet many other people. Also the food was plentiful, everybody ate until they could eat no more. One of the best hostels we've stayed in.
