We didn't get to see any of this hotel as as soon as we arrived we were told there is a 'problem' with our room and we had to be moved to Poppies 2. This hotel was very noisy and right in the middle of Kuta- not what we had requested.

I stayed in 4 places in Bali and this was the cheapest but with the best facilities. I couldn't wait to tell my 2 friends about it as they are in Bali soon. My only problem was with the taxi they got me. They said it usually 50,000rp to the airport. I had 60,000rp which I explained to the driver before we left. But his meter said otherwise and I ended up paying 75,000rp including his airport ticket. which I had no idea of. I would have taken fixed transport of 60,000rp offered by my 1st hotel

Please be sure to make your reservation at Warung Coco located at Poppies 2! There are two locations bearing the same name (very confusing!) and the one at Mataram street is definitely not where you want to be. Although the double-rooms are quite ok, the twin-bed rooms certainly are not! Furthermore it is located a 30 (!) minute walk from the beach and at a very noisy street! Staff is very friendly, breakfast is fine.

Clean and tidy guesthouse, overall excellent value for money with aircon and free wifi. Shower was a little disappointing though as I could only get cold water and it sprayed every way but down. Close to Kuta beach without being in the busy area, which we liked.

Our room was in a small alley around the corner of the reception/dining room, in a small garden. This is a nice quiet place, but Jl Mataram is very busy with lots of motorbikes on te road. The ambiance of the breakfast area/reception was not very good. Coco Warung has several types of rooms, so the choice for a particular type of rooms determines your location. From our room, it was a 5 minute walk to Legian street and a 15-20 minute walk to Kuta beach.

So friendly, always smiling and helpful staff! For that money excellent, only the location is negative, but anyway for that price ok.

This place is not in the center of the touristy part of Kuta, which we enjoyed. If you are looking for a place in the middle of Kuta this is not your place, but if you are looking for a place slightly off with some great street food nearby this is your place.

Location was ok but not that close to the main beach/streets, and although initially very friendly we later find out that the taxi they organised for us to leave was too expensive! Scam! Room was quite nice though

Great place, located right in the center of Kuta. Really a great bargain and we felt very safe and comfortable there. However, the location is hard to get to because of all of the traffic in Kuta. This meant we couldn't get a cab to take us there or pick us up, and meant we had a couple of long walks with heavy backpacks. But aside from that, really a great place.

Decent place, but the location is inconvenient. You have to walk really far in the moped filled streets to get anywhere exciting. Also, most of the cab drivers don't know where it is. Also the website says breakfast included but it's not. There is breakfast there but you have to pay extra for it. The receptionist was difficult to work with. She didn't speak very good English and got very upset with us when we didn't understand her. She also ridiculed us for booking a pricey tour.

First, we had problems with our room. The facilities were not checked before our arrival, the sewer was blocked and our locks didn't work. We had to change our room afterwards. In our new room the door of the bathroom was not put on place properly. Also, the staff moved our things from the old one to the new one and lost some of our things. Nothing was compensated afterwards. The staff overall was very unfriendly and reluctant to help us, they were not interested about our customer experience.
