With no access to the internet, sms or international calls in Xinjiang, staff were really helpful keeping my friends informed when my flight was delayed. Unfortunately my stay wasn\'t so comfortable... rooms were cold and too bright from corridor lights, and the shower rooms seemed to be permanently locked, so I had to ask reception for a key. This is a nice place and a good value. The staff is very helpful and the location is great. Though it's far from the train station and may be a bit of a challenge to get to by bus if you can't read or speak Chinese, it's near Carrefour and a pleasant park. There is still no internet in Xinjiang, so you might want to print out your reservation if you book online.This is a nice place and a good value. The staff is very helpful and the location is great. Great place! Pretty convenient location once you know how to get to the place. Lots of connecting buses to all around the city. During the recent rioting in Urumqi, the staff did a great job advising us and keeping us safe. The staff is great with directions as well. I highly recommend this hostel.
