This place was awesome! If you're American or like to party and meet people this is the place for you. Good times, good vibes, friendly as hell staff. Highly recommend

Excellent hostel. Lived up to its reputation. Would highly recommend. Located over the road from the main train station in a slightly edgy part of town, otherwise perfect.

Good atmosphere, and very clean!

It was my second time at Wombat's. Excellent location, (right next to main train station/metro/supermarket etc) big, clean and sunny rooms, all-you-can-eat breakfast for just under 4 euros. Hopefully I will come back again :)

Only one bath/shower in a ten bed room was to less! Long waiting times!

This was such a fun hostel. We made a lot of friends at the bar downstairs and had an excellent couple days partying with them. The terrace in the middle was a cool spot to hang out and there was excellent wifi there. Breakfast was also great value. The whole place was very clean and inviting. Location is a little outside the main area but right beside the train station which was great while carrying heavy backpacks. Best hostel we've stayed at so far.

Great hostel, great location, great atmosphere. Really easy to get around. Ozzies 'free' walking tour is a MUST so great and perfect if you are like us and only had a couple of days in such a great city. Only downer was that the hostel bar doesn't open till 6pm :( haha lots of people waiting for a beer by 4pm. Other than that, great hostel!

No kitchen on our floor, one shower/wc per eight... Clean room and brilliant breakfast, good bar also!

Wombats in Munich is a great place to stay. You get a free, spacious locker for free which is great for peace of mind. The beds are really comfy and the dorms are extremely clean. There is a bar, which is a great place to meet the other guests. It's about a 10 minute walk into the centre of town and just a 2 minute walk to the train station. Highly recommended.

It is a very nice place no matter in location and in the atmosphere!

Solid hostel. Clean rooms with in-room bathroom. Can be noisy if you're facing the street but I put in earplugs and slept fine. Pretty active bar but I had a cold while I passed through Munich so really can't comment on if it's any good. Great location by the train station. Staff are great and pretty helpful.

location is very good and the atmosphere is nice, happy hour everyday. the only one disadvantage is the wifi is not very good, especially when many people are suing it at night . In conclude, very nice hostel. I am also living the wombats in wien and budapest.

This hostel had everything you need and was pretty nice, it just seemed a little impersonal. The bar is very tempting on rainy days, the only problem is that they loudly broadcast the bar music throughout much of the common area even before noon, which can be grating on the nerves! The breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary but still pretty good, I appreciated the panini machine for making a hot breakfast sandwich.

A Very Lively/Busy Hostel...Only stayed one night, but I got the impression that it's a party hostel where most just come and go in large parties. Perhaps not a place to chill out and make new friends but a great place to...like a singles bar...Great location next to the center, no guest kitchen, staff was great but busy, and the wifi only worked down stairs. Very nice spacious rooms, lockers and everything was on a single key card. I would recommend this hostel as it is a pleasant stay...

at night the music in the bar is noisy for sleeping

A group of friends and I were looking for an inexpensive place to stay as we explored Munich. Wombats Hostel was conveniently located near the train station and one of the best hostels we have stayed in since we have been in Germany. I definitely will recommend this hostel to any other groups going to Munich

Great place to stay if you are travelling alone. Lots of hostel-mates in the bar at night.
