This hostel was fine and I would recommend it if you just want a place to stay. But it really lacked atmosphere. With no WiFi outside communal areas all they've achieved is to make the entire communal area resemble an internet cafe. It was weird. And no kitchen facilities is fine, but maybe a microwave or even plates etc. would have been good. And random people coming in at night wasn't monitored with one girl in the dorm bringing a guy back to sleep with. But Oz walking tour was great though!!

The hostel was really nice, had a huge wintergarten in the middle w/ skylights & hammocks & wifi access, so great. Stayed in a 6 person all girls room: clean, v. spacious w/ a kind of picnic table in the middle of the room- which was super convenient- & even a blow dryer, etc. My friend booked our group a reservation for 2 nights & a few of us decided to extend our visits on separate bookings. The staff was super helpful, combining the bookings on arrival & making sure we were in the same room.

Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, great location, half a minute walk to the train station, the room was spotlessly clean, bright and spacious. Great value for money.

Beautiful hostel with nice bar and courtyard to hang out and meet people. Right next to the train station, a little far from city center, but close to ground for spingfest

Everything was great. Super friendly staff with lots of ideas for things to do. The onsite bar is a lot of fun and a great way to meet others staying there. Location couldnt be more perfect. Walking distance to tons of sites and a hop and a skip from the train. Only negative things I have to say is the wifi connection sucks and someone puked in the hallway and they cleaned it up but it smelled like vomit the entire weekend.

Wombats hostels are generally pretty good. However, I prefer 'The Lounge' in Vienna. Munich hostel was nice but there aren't a lot of facilities and the only way to socialise is at the bar at night. Wifi only works in the common areas with the idea of promoting interaction between travellers but instead you just get people with their headphones, on laptops, computers or iPhones all sitting on their own not talking to anyone.

There could be more showers and they could be a bit cleaner... Also a towel should definitely be included in the price!!

Nothing particularly wrong with the hostel. Caters to a college crowd. Very busy at all times. Location is very convenient as it is right by the train station. Probably would choose a quieter hostel next time.

Great atmosphere, loved the Wombar. Unfortunate that Wifi only worked in the atrium and lobby but not that big of a deal.

I don't have words to describe this hostel, one of the bests I've ever been!!!! So close to the subway/train, so it was very easy to come from the airport and very well located, the bar was awesome, a lot of nice people out there, I just loved it! The breakfast was very nice and complete, I got a private room for 5, it was sooo beautiful and clean and confortable, perfect!!!!!!!!

Atmosphere/character not quite what I'm usually after in a hostel, but I think character is more down to poor research on my part (hostelworld reviews let you work out the character of the hostel reasonably well before the fact). Atmosphere wasn't the greatest for mingling with other people - the common area tended to feature lots of people all busily head-down on wi-fi! Overall though, a good hostel, and I wouldn't have any issues recommending them for others to stay at.

It is a great hostel if you are planning to enjoy and party around. I have arrived late and I just wanted to rest, at the first impression the lobby floor, which includes the bar, looked really crazy. A lot of people and noise there. However, in the bedrooms' floor the environment was really nice and quiet, so no problems for those who want to rest. The hostel was clean and the facilities ok. Breakfast is a must have, as well as some time in the indoor garden. Overall I would recommend it.

I will forever stay at a wombats hostel if there is one in the city I am at. It was a clean and friendly atmosphere! We stayed at the one in Munich and Berlin, both were great!
