Very good place. Right by the side of the central station. Very good atmosphere in the basement and an excellent walking tour departing from the hostel every morning.

Excelent hostel and with a good price. nice bar, very confortable comum area and the breakfast isnt free but its very good and worth the price. The bathroom isn`t big, but its good and with a very hot shower.

The staff could be more friendly.

No wifi in the rooms is irritating but this is a top-notch hostel — very clean, modern facilities and a helpful staff.

I like the Wombats very much. Every time I have to go to Vienna or Munich, I choose the Wombats. In Munich, there is unfortunatelly any kitchen (they say that it is for security reason because of fire). But how it is possible that in Vienna it is? The hostel has a very good standard in everything. But this time some group of people was organizing a party at their room (that it is non allowed) and I couldn´t sleep for two nights, so I was angry.

This is the best hostel I have stayed in! The atmosphere is great for meeting other backpackers and the bar/happy hour can't be beat--I hear some of the locals try to sneak in to get the beer during happy hour! The rooms and beds are comfortable and it's only 10 minutes from the center of the town (and right by the HbF, making transport easy.) Very social hostel, the staff is super friendly and knows the city well. Only complaint is it can be loud, but just in the common area. Breakfast is good!

I only stayed at Wombats for one night, but I wish it could have been longer! The atmosphere seemed fantastic. The next time I'm in Munich for longer than a 14-hour layover, I'll definitely be checking for an available bed at this hostel.

Really nice hostel! I appreciated our bathroom getting cleaned every day, and the decorations in our room were great, made it seem homey. It was Also nice to have a bar inside to meet people, but I wish the Internet worked in there!! I had to leave the bar every time I needed to check my email or send a message.

It is a very cool hostel in the heart of the action in Munich. There is a cool atrium area with hammocks you can sleep, relax, talk in. I switched into this hostel after a rough night and they let me put my bags in the locked bag room while I rested until my room was ready. Very down to earth place.

I love Wombats. The Staff s really nice, it's cheap and really close to the main station.

No wifi connection in the room, everytime i hv to go down to use wifi. veryX10000000000000 inconvenience. Noisy.

This was a fantastic experience. I enjoyed my stay and definitely would come back. Great staff. Cool bar downstairs. Amazing free tour! The breakfast wasn't free but everything else made up for it.

Great stay, would only be better if there was wi-fi in the rooms.

Did not like the noise in the evening from those drunk hostellers revelling in the corridor and slamming doors. Even had furniture moving in the early hours of the morning. There was of course the odd person so intoxicated that they vomited very noisily all night - yuk! Loved the bar, and the breakfasts and in general a really lovely hostel to stay in.

Was everything that I expected staying in a typically run German hostel. Convenient, friendly staff, clean, great atmosphere and loads of fun. Overall excellent value for money - would come back in a heartbeat :)
