Surprisingly good location, open and friendly staff, offering rich breakfast. Among the highlighted nearby places to visit, besides Vienna, I missed Ljubljana, Maribor or Piran on the Slovene coast.

Excellent hostel, it's located in front of a market full of restaurants and bars, my rooms was pretty big and it was very clean ... you can go everywhere just walking, I definetly would stay there again.

Excellent place to stay. The kitchen will almost inevitably be too crowded to cook in though since it will be crowded!

Probably one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in Europe! The location is fabulous! The staff was so helpful and they have a huge wall full of suggestions! The free welcome cocktail in the bar was a nice surprise! And the wifi even worked in the room which was also a pleasant surprise! Overall a wonderful experience.

Great breakfast at an unbeatable price, fast and reliable free wifi everywhere, nice lounge with enough electric outlets for laptop users.

The room is simple and clean. The staff is nice. There is a bar inside the hostel. you may have a drink at night without going outside. It is nice. the hosdtel is located near the train station. you can go to the city center by train easily. Also, there is a market nearby, there are a lot to see and eat. but it is a bit expensive.

Brand new hostel, state of the art rooms very modern and a very helpful market right across the street. The bar is solid and good because everyone goes, however the staff wasn't very helpful in suggesting local places to party and drink. They simply said "just go to our bar". 2 best out of 4 hostels so far.

It lacks a bit of soul, but the facilities and location is amazing, absolutely amazing.

Rooms are spacious, well-equiped and clean. Though the common area is not as clean as it could be. Good athmosphere in the bar. The staff is knowledgable and open, but not very smiley.

Great hostel. About 10-15 minute walk from the center where the main sights are Good breakfast (but 3.80 euro extra). Has in room lockers (electronic lock) that fits a large suitcase. Every bed had a light and an outlet, which is important. One small problem for me was that there was nowhere in the shower where you could put your toiletries.

The wombats in Vienna was a great experience for my group of 7. We were accomodated quickly, given a spacious and clean room and were treated with respect and friendliness every time. I would highly recommend this hostel and all other Wombat hostels if you're an American on a Eurotrip :)

I enjoy the only night I stayed in wombat. Staff are very friendly to help with my questions. Room is a bit small for six people. Kitchen is quite far, you need to go through the bar and take another stairs to get there. The other characters are very good.

A really nice hostel that is at the comfort level of a good hostel. Modern interior and WiFi throughout the whole building. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is not included but the breakfast buffet for 3.80€ is really good value-for-money. It is missing an AC for being a perfect hostel but in Vienna this is a minor nitpick. Rooms are large with good beds and the ensuite bathrooms are modern, perfect-sized and well-equipped.

I don't think I've ever stayed at a better hostel! The only thing I could critisize even just a little bit is, that the selection at the breakfast is a little boring - but then again the breakfast is only 3,80 euro. Put the price up to 4 euros straight and add bacon and softboiled eggs, then I would be a happy man. But all in all I can't think of a better place to stay in Vienna for this kind of money!

Great place, very clean and well-situated. Too big for my taste though, and didn't have a super cozy atmosphere.
