The perfect place in Viena. Best option ever.
it's a good place to stay.. a bit hot in the summer, but the hostel provides an air fan which helped a little. The atmosphere is great, lots of young people. A bit noisy but still tolerable. Perfect location! Love the hammock in the lobby that makes you want to stay and do nothing.. lovely staff too!
Good price for a nice hostel at a central place in Vienna!

Really great location, very spacious rooms and the hostel was really clean. The staff were also incredibly friendly and hostel. It's a very big hostel so not necessarily a very social atmosphere but that also depends on how long you choose to spend in the hostel.
Best hostel on our eight country trip. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms, and ensuite bathrooms were clean and large. Key cards throughout for easy access and good security. They keycards also worked for the free lockers in the rooms which were very convenient. Great atmosphere with a bar on the main floor, and lots of relaxing space. I would recommend this to anyone. Five minute walk to metro station.
The WiFi connection in the room was extremely weak. Why cant the connection be as fast as that at the lobby? Other than that, everything was good. Thanks for the free drinks.
everything is perfect except in the room simetimes can not connect the wifi.
No air conditioning, so the room was extremely hot every night I was there. Wifi works fine in lobby area but cut out a lot in other rooms. Free walking tour was great as there aren't any offered in Vienna. Bar was bonus for solo travelers looking to meet people for a night out. Staff were average and didn't really put in the effort to make you feel welcome and weren't very helpful.
good hostel in a very nice location. you have to pay for internet which is very strange.
The best hostel I have been so far! The rooms are new, clean and the staff and service is great.
Our stay at the Wombats hostel was really great. We had a nice, clean and comfortable room. The only thing that wasn't so good was the kitchen, that can be used by everyone. The kitchen was dirty. But so many people use this kitchen. That's the problem and not the responsibility of the staff.

BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS!!!! Arrived at hostel having heard rumours of bedbugs, when questioned the man on reception LIED to me about having an exterminator. We then found bed bugs in BOTH ROOMS we were given when we complained about the first instance. The final room was finally acceptable. Hostel was nice but not worth the stress that it caused us. The only saving grace would be the staff member Irina who gladly compensated our distress with free breakfast. More like 20% than 51
We had a very good experience, the staff were very friendly. However, the wifi connection in rooms were unstable, which was disruptive as we required the internet.
Great hostel, with very helpful staff. Got great advice on what to visit and where to eat and party. The location is very good, next to the metro station, two supermarkets and a farmers market. The only real downside is the lack of air conditioning, which in a 30 degree heat with high humidity wasn't very pleasant.
Every thing was great, the only problem was the internet connection, which could be much better
Enjoyed our stay in this hostel on large, however, found the hostel staff quite rude and blunt! Wifi didn't work particularly well in the rooms. However, the atmosphere in the hostel was good and the bar in the hostel allowed us to meet alot of people, Also, the breakfast, although not included in the price had a very large selection and couldnt be faulted, worth the €3.90!
Good overall, but not as good as the one in Munich. I found it a bit odd that it only has en suite bathrooms and no extra bathrooms in the corridors. If you're staying in an 8-bed room this can mean quite a long wait for the shower.
Great wifi (in the lobby), very secure (keycard for room is same for locker), very close to u-bahn and a grocery store. It's a big hostel but I still met cool people. Would definitely stay there again!
