This place was great. The Wombats always are. The location is perfect. It is right on my favorite restaurant/bar strip int he city, the market, which is right across the street in the middle of two roads. Stay here to meet people easily and have a great time in the city.

One thing that I really did not like is that they switch off WIFI in the evening. On the screen there is manifesto that people should integrate instead of looking at Facebook. The idea is good but I is good however I've travelled to Vienna for a conference (I'm young academic) so I was not able to work in such conditions.

i liked the lounge area, would be great if it were a bit more "closed-up". I had to work on my computer and sat there and the people from the bar kept coming in and out and were very loud (which is nice if you have time to party), but maybe if the lounge was a bit more sheltered it would have been easier to concentrate. other than that I enjoyed my stay very much

Great location a mere 15 mins walk from he key attractions - museum quarter etc. and just 2 mins from the metro. Rooms are extremely clean and spacious. Security was top notch with electronic lock doors and lockers in rooms. Breakfast comes In a delightful and sumptuous buffet spread at a reasonable cost of 3+ euros. One of the best hostel experiences I have had in Europe and I would highly recommend this to anyone !

It´s a big professional place, so you don't have a real hostel experience, meeting the staff and the other guests. In another way, it´s clean, confortable, safe and very well located. Staff is ok, except for the tiny blond girl in the bar, who is rude..

Right across the street from a metro stop and less than 20 minutes walk from the sites and old town. Fresh market every day across the street as well which was awesome. The rooms were great, the bar was cool, not much to say other than this place was a great deal and a great place to stay. Also, I'm a total foody so the huge breakfast with boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, bread, and just about anything else you could think of was much appreciated.

Super close to the metro and an easy walk to the old town, and the Naschmarkt is right outside the door! Awesome location. The staff are loads of fun and really friendly, overall it's just a really hip place with great facilities.

An extremely well-thought through hostel with lovely roomy rooms, everything a traveller could need, first-class accomodation at budget prices. Lovely staff, PCs, a kitchen, great pub and even a voucher for a free drink. Wonderbar!

A great room and excellent location and value for money. Enjoyed the free drinks tokens at the wombar too! Rooms are a bit hot at times and the shower needs an extractor fan, but overall a lovely stay.

Wombats Naschmarkt is awesome!!! Perfect staff, nice environment, clean, big kitchen, strong shower, even in the night their will be some guard to ensure there is no annoying noise in the building!!!(we really met, those guys were totally drunk and was talking loudly, imagining the noise just disappeared!!!) I love the hostel, best ever except the wifi need to log on every time...

We stayed in a female-only dorm at the Wombats City Hostel Vienna - at the Naschmarkt, and would definitely recommend it due to its safety, location, cleanliness, and price!

Love staying at wombats because it is so clean and has a great atmosphere with helpful staff. The location was a little far from things but not too bad because you could walk 10 minutes to the city center or take the short walk to the U-Bahn station down the street. The Naschmarkt was nice too, especially for meals!

This was my second time here - each has been amazing. My brother and I felt like we were in a hotel. The rooms are immaculate, with large lockers and ensuite bathrooms. We had a blast in the bar and the large kitchen was hugely helpful for saving money. The wifi in the rooms alone would make this hostel worth the money!
