The best hostel I have been so far! The rooms are new, clean and the staff and service is great.

Our stay at the Wombats hostel was really great. We had a nice, clean and comfortable room. The only thing that wasn't so good was the kitchen, that can be used by everyone. The kitchen was dirty. But so many people use this kitchen. That's the problem and not the responsibility of the staff.

BED BUGS, BED BUGS, BED BUGS!!!! Arrived at hostel having heard rumours of bedbugs, when questioned the man on reception LIED to me about having an exterminator. We then found bed bugs in BOTH ROOMS we were given when we complained about the first instance. The final room was finally acceptable. Hostel was nice but not worth the stress that it caused us. The only saving grace would be the staff member Irina who gladly compensated our distress with free breakfast. More like 20% than 51

Only stayed here a night but fantastic hostel - rooms were spacious with a nice bathroom. Good wifi, breakfast is very nice although it's not free, plenty of staff willing to advise and the hostel hosts a range of activities and walking tours. Bit further out in china town but the tube station is over the road.

We had a very good experience, the staff were very friendly. However, the wifi connection in rooms were unstable, which was disruptive as we required the internet.

Great hostel, with very helpful staff. Got great advice on what to visit and where to eat and party. The location is very good, next to the metro station, two supermarkets and a farmers market. The only real downside is the lack of air conditioning, which in a 30 degree heat with high humidity wasn't very pleasant.

Every thing was great, the only problem was the internet connection, which could be much better

Enjoyed our stay in this hostel on large, however, found the hostel staff quite rude and blunt! Wifi didn't work particularly well in the rooms. However, the atmosphere in the hostel was good and the bar in the hostel allowed us to meet alot of people, Also, the breakfast, although not included in the price had a very large selection and couldnt be faulted, worth the €3.90!

Good overall, but not as good as the one in Munich. I found it a bit odd that it only has en suite bathrooms and no extra bathrooms in the corridors. If you're staying in an 8-bed room this can mean quite a long wait for the shower.

Great wifi (in the lobby), very secure (keycard for room is same for locker), very close to u-bahn and a grocery store. It's a big hostel but I still met cool people. Would definitely stay there again!

Booked an all female dorm room, but 2 men were placed in our room as well. The other 2 women in our room also mentioned how they had chosen an all female room. We didn't mind all that much, just would've liked to get the room that we actually booked. Good location, next to several supermarkets (asian as well) with several restaurants and food stands right in front. Building felt like it had no ventilation, but the rooms were well ventilated so it wasn't totally bad. Would recommend.

Very good hostel, however I wish they had free internet for non-smartphone users.

Stayed here 1 night and had a good experience. Hostel is big and is more like a hotel with guests coming and going. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm and room had its only bathroom. Hostel is ideally located, just beside the Naschmarkt and a underground station. Breakfast is amazing value for €3.50. Only negative was we met some girls who had bed bugs in their room, they were covered in bite marks. Would probably stay in smaller more personal hostel if I return to Vienna, Wombats is a little too big.

Cool bar with a nice atmosphere to chill out. Excellent secure bike storage. Staff very helpful. Very modern and efficient hostel.

Great hostel. Very modern, nice, and clean. The only negative part would be its size. It's quite big so you don't get that "home" feeling you can get in small hostels. Anyway, I definitely recommend it.

The naschmarket is a nice place to stay. Close to the city centre! The wombats is to big to have a cozy chat with fellow travelers. The music in the bar is to loud to talk with each other. Room was clean and nice. We hired a bike which is very recomended!
