The quality the Wombat´s city hostel provided was beyond any expectations. All furniture was modern, everything was very clean and the staff was very very kind. The atmosphere was brilliant. Moreover, facilities like the bar or the breakfast were of high quality. I will absolutely recommend Wombat´s city hostels to friends.

Love it ! Nice hostel with friendly staffs. If you can, plan your trip to include your stay on Saturday to wander the Naschmarkt, right in front of the hostel, and you will love it.

I have stayed here probably over ten times, and I recommend it to absolutely everyone. The staff is really welcoming and friendly; it is located across the street from an open-air market and less than ten minutes from Karlsplatz station and the Ringstrasse. If you're on a budget, the breakfast is a really great bargain, too. They've also recently added wifi to the rooms- which are always clean and comfortable.

Amazing facilities! Great location right on Naschmarkt. Told the staff I stayed at the Wombat's in Budapest and I got free breakfast! Free tour provided by the hostel, which was awesome and very informative. Clean rooms with comfortable beds, individual lockers, reading lights, and plugs. It was a great experience staying at Wombats in Vienna!

Literally the best hostel I've ever stayed in! I cannot rave about this place enough. My friend & I stayed in a mixed 6-bed dorm & were astounded at the cleanliness, comfort & SPACE our room provided. It was plain but light and airy, not cramped like many other hostel dorms. Lockers are free and super secure, bathroom was modern & clean. We aren't usually the sort to make hostel friends, but our roommates were great & we had an awesome time with them going out in the city & downstairs in the bar

The hostel lacks character. But again... This is a problem of the chain. Wombat is a HOTEL with cheap rooms. You won't make friends there nor get to know the staff (unless you're lucky to stumble on cool ppl on your rooms). The staff is miserably dealing (sometimes yelling) with HUGE groups checking in and out all the time. That said, the location is good, making it easy to walk around everywhere and the facilities are also good. It's Wombat after all. These guys know how to do comfy rooms.

It needs more hooks in bathroom and rooms, i.e. on door, Everything ends up lying on floor! Recycling, not enough, i.e. pet, alluminium, compost, there is a good recycling system in Austria.

The bathrooms could use some ventilation to quicker remove the steam after taking a shower. Otherwise impeccable.

Really nice hostel -- great location (right next to the metro line), great facilities. Stayed for a conference, and all of the girls in my room were also there for the same conference, so it worked out very nicely. Highly recommend this place to anyone!
