Perfectly good hostel!

It is the right place to rest after touring the museums, palaces and shops. If, after you have left a bit 'of energy, at the evening you can make friends with somebody :-)

Feels more like a hotel than a hostel so a bit more difficult to meet new people. Maybe they could initiate more activities to create a more sociable atmosphere otherwise everything was excellent.

I booked a 8-bed room, the staff overgraded to a 4-bed room, and let me check-in at 7am. Very nice.

Really big dormroom with the best shower! Top quality for this price. For €3,90 you can get breakfast from 9.00-10.30 and its all you can eat. I had a great time at Wombats.

A wonderful hostel in an ideal location for foodies - Naschmarkt has plenty of cafes for breakfast/brunch/lunch!

For such a huge hostel there was an ok atmosphere, but I think it still would be difficult to meet people on your own here. The kitchen is good, but really need another sink! The bathrooms were great with very good water pressure and hot water. The breakfast was extremely over priced! They charge €3.90 for what you get at other hostels for free. Location wise, it's convenient being next to the market to 2 super markets. It's about a 15/20 min walk into the main bit of town.

Thanks for your review, we really appreciate it. Especially the kind-of negative stuff, for we want to improve. Just a word about the breakfast: it costs the same as a cappucino at starbucks - you get the same cappucino (including as many refills as you like) AND an all-you-can-eat buffet. I´m the financial controller at Wombats and I swear to the Almighty Flying Spaghetti Monster that we don´t make a single Cent with the brekkie - it covers the cost, that´s it. Happy travels, Klaus

The lockers are located in each room and you can use you room card as a key... very simple and secure. The kitchen is great also, well equipped and clean.

Well the location is about as good as it gets and it was very clean. The hostel is massive though, and not ideal for solo travelers. I was upgraded (free of charge) to the female dorms, and maybe because of this, I didn't meet as many people as I would have. However, if you're two or a group, this place is great! Overall a good stay.

The location is super easy to get around and close to lots of places to eat. The WiFi is reasonably solid, the place is clean and the vibe is good, the bar is a great place to start before heading out for the night. The staff could have been a little more approachable, but most were friendly enough.

If u want to meet people this Isn't the place! This hostel is really clean and nice it's really close to staying at a Hotel the only problem is that if u want to meet people and u r shy there's no way you're gonna do It the hostel is so big and there are so many groups staying there so you just need a nice personality to stay there, anyways it's a nice place and Jacob at reception it's a really GREAT guy! Go and talk to him he is amazing!

The staff was so friendly and full of information. The hostel gives you drink tickets upon your arrival and a free walking tour of the city! We enjoyed the hostel so much that we stayed for an extra night! Wombats was amazing!

The hostel is very nice, however, it is more a hotel than a hostel (except for the shared rooms, of course). It is so big there is no real feeling of a "hostel family" that you feel elsewhere. As a solo traveller, I wouldn't recommend it. It is like staying in a hotel by yourself. If you are traveling with friends or family, it is a good option as it is very well located, clean and safe.

Great hostel, big rooms. Nice there is a bar inside. Pity, breakfast was not included.
