Look nice enough hostel, good atmosphere, but I completely agree with the other reviews, it was unbelievably hot. Guys I know its not (yet) commonplace in hostels in Germany, but you really really need to invest in air conditioning. I stayed on a very mild summer night and it was genuinely unbearably hot inside. I'd honestly recommend staying away in summer months.

Wombats City Hostel was rated the most popular in Munich at the 2017 Hoscars and we're not surprised. This friendly hostel offers a lot of nice extras to guests, such as parking in the basement, a fully-stocked bar and a frequently praised all-you-can-eat breakfast. We particularly like the hammocks and bean bags in their glass-roofed courtyard, where travellers can relax even during poor weather. They're located just 10 minutes walk from the Oktoberfest and most sights in the city centre, as well as near the U-Bahn and international trains at the Hauptbahnhof.
