We had a good stay at this hostel. There are areas to hang out and meet new people--such as the bar, the lobby, and the lounge. The only complaints that I have are that breakfast isn't include and there isn't a kitchen for you to store your own food. Also, internet isn't free. It's 1 euro for 40 minutes of internet.

Clean, spacious rooms. Stayed in a 7-bed room, no problem. Only downside is the lack of shower facilities. One combined toilet/shower per room. With only one additional shower cubicle for 3 floors on one of the corridors. If this place is fully booked during high season you will probably have to wait quite a bit to get your turn.

No Wi-Fi in the rooms, not cool. After a long day I need the evening to relax in my room, sometimes planning the next day's adventure or accommodations or transportation. Their reasoning is to force me to socialize, I can do that as well and still have wi-fi in my room. .

large, impersonal hostel catering for youngsters who get drunk on their complimentary (small) beer. very good facilities, but if you're over 25 be prepared to feel very old.

GREAT HOSTEL! The wombats chain is great, but the Munich location is the best. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming which is always a plus. I was actually traveling by myself in Munich, but I had no issue meeting others because of the great atmosphere provided. Definitely worth the money. Highly Recommend!!!!

Very nice and friendly hostel. The breakfast was fantastic and the room was clean and our roommates were calm and quite. Don't know, but it almost felt like the rooms are given with thought of how you put people together :) The only thing to ameliorate was maybe that the wifi was sometimes not connecting..

A great hostel - friendly staff and the best free tour you will ever take in your life. The bathrooms/rooms are very clean. Only complaint is that there is no wifi in the rooms - only in the lobby/first floor area.

The staff was the most friendly staff I encountered in my whole 4 months of travelling. They were very helpful and always eager to help out any way possible. The rooms were very clean and I had more than enough blankets. I slept very well at the wombat! Not to mention they give out free drinks to have in their awesome bar. Thanks Wombat for the amazing experience. I want to come back.

I liked a lot the enviroment at the bar. But there was not warm water in my room, so i had to take a cold shower.

Except for the luke-warm showers, loved this hostel. Great value for the money.

The hot water was not working in some periods of the day, like in the morning or at night. I didn't like that the common area closes at night, this is ridiculous. Everything in the hostel was expensive, even if you compare to the other wombats. They only have 1 bathroom with shower besides the one in the room. The good thing was the Karaoke night at the Wombar.

Very good for young people. The only sad point is that they do not have a fridge, or a microwave available, so you cannot prepare your own meals. But

Well, the building is really good. Everything is new... two things you must consider....THERE IS NO KITCHEN THERE. quite important if you are travelling with a certain budget. EVERY TIME I TRIED TO TAKE A SHOWER IN THE MORNING, THERE WAS NOT HOT WATER!!!! Maybe you could look for another place to stay...

Wombats hostels are great, but this one has a lot of shady characters hanging around on the street that the hostel is on, so we would have liked to see better security at the front entrance of the hostel (the keycard access in the rest of the building is great). The all-you-can-eat buffet for 3.80Euro is very good and we absolutely loved the panini machine at this location. Such a small detail, but appreciated. Grilled cheese sandwiches to get your day started, mmmm.

A good and cheap hostel that is right next to the train station. Lots of character and security is really good as well. Rooms include a bathroom which is very convenient and staff was always friendly and helpful.
