Wifi was only available at the hostel front desk. It didn't even reach to the couches in the bar area right next to the front desk. Also, not much of a restaurant/bar - a bit disappointing that there wasn't that casual evening hostel atmosphere of everyone coming back from their day of exploring. Aside from this, it was great. The staff were helpful with bus info and any other Qs we had. The room was secure, clean and plenty of space.
nice enough, bathrooms and mattresses are a bit grotty but bearable if you are only there for a handful of nights. staff were great when I left my bag over night to go to Gulangyu. location is ok a little hard to find. showers had no water pressure and they close everything at 11, you can't even sit in the common room which is weird... overall average, ok place to stay.
Really need to work on customer service skills with the different employees. There were only really 2 people who provided a high level of customer service, everyone else needs work. Also the rooms need to be cleaned daily and linens need to be changed at a minimum weekly.
Great location, super close to Xiamen University. Games and a guitar for public use. Clean and safe.
toilets and showers are not many; one or two are boarded up and not for use.
The hostel is located downstairs the yard gate which makes is really difficult to carry a luggage n go down the long narrow slippery stairs before check in. There s no bathroom in the room which is unreasonanle considering the climate in Amoy. Plus the quality of the bed is quite poor, i saw a skinny girl breaking it by accident when she tried to grab the handle to get down from upper stairs of the bed.
