I confess I was a little bit disappointed by this hostel, since there are so many nice reviews about it. Our private bedroom was just ok. The bed was great, but too small and not a single place for storage, and it was right next to the stairs that would take people to the rooms on the first floor, in other words, it was incredibly noisy. Not mentioning the people talking loudly after 11:00 pm without any concerns about those who wanted to sleep. Wouldn't stay there again.

Staff were very knowledgable about TDP and helped with last minute planning/prep. Good ratio of rooms to bathrooms - never had to wait to use the bathroom (which was equipped with a great shower). Breakfast was very minimal. We were supposed to leave a bag at the hostel while we went to TDP, but no one was awake when everybody was leaving to catch the morning bus, so everybody left their bags with a note and crossed their fingers that it was fine (which it was).

The bed linen were dirty and were definitely used by previous guests. After we asked, it was changed. There was no breakfast in the morning even it was supposed to be. The other guests were also confused. We were searching for a storage room quite long since nobody was around to help us. The hostel is far away from the bus station: 20 minutes by foot uphill. So, we paid around 50 € for a twin room. I am sure Puerto Natales can offer better accomodation for this money.

Takes 10mins to walk to town centre. No restaurants immediately nearby. Warm and cozy communal areas. Communal kitchen well stocked with utensils. Rooms dirty with stained sheets and flimsy, stained pillows. Many bathrooms, all fairly clean. Spotty wifi and only available on ground floor. Breakfasts available from 7am with yoghurt, cereal and occasionally eggs. The staff speak English and helpful.

Amazing staff and beautiful rooms! The breakfast was tasty and the atmosphere relaxing! Exactly what we wanted on either end of our trip in Torres del Paine! Would highly recommend staying here!

Very lovely hostel and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience! Staff was very friendly, efficient, and spoke perfect English. The location was very good and price very reasonable. Wifi was perfect.

The staff were a bit hit and miss...some were quite friendly, others not so. The woman in charge of breakfast was particularly sour (breakfast was pretty lame too). But the two dogs were an absolute joy! We stayed there twice, both times in the double room on the ground floor. It was clean enough, but there were little animals running around in the walls and ceiling which made a bit of noise at night. We live in the bush so no big deal for us, but some people might freak out.

I stayed for two nights each. First, the location is between city center and bus station. Supermarket is right next to the hostel. Second, room and bathroom are great. Bed is comfortable. Room temperature is warm. Bathroom are clean too. Third, they provide camping rental, bus ticket and laundry service. The camping equipment are in good condition. Breakfast is wonderful. Common area and kitchen are great. Last, staff are kind and informative. Highly recommend!

one of the best hostel experiences of my life. the staff were very friendly, willing to help, call agencies i booked things with even though it was not through the hostel! also, the hostel is kept super neat and the lounge area is the best!

Yagan house is a great hostel with a very nice common area and great staff. Tais is the most smiling and positive girl in the world who can solve any of your problems! If you need you can easily book tours at the reception, no need to go to the agencies. The laundry service is available at a good rate, I was really happy to have my clothes washed.

A genuinely lovely hostel. Quiet but friendly - the perfect place to warm up, meet friends, & exchange tips before or after a Patagonia trekking trip. Everything is spotless, the staff are so friendly, breakfast is great, and the rooms are lovely. All in all, a fabulous experience, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, and highly recommended.
