Excellent, Excellent, Excellent to rate the hostel. The staff - Paulinia was extremely friendly, helpful, including helping on buying tours. Breakfast was very good! Everything in the apartment super clean and good heating ! 3 blocks from the bus company Fernandez to Punta Arenas.

This property is poorly constructed and in poor order. For example broken room door, broken shower fitting and their was mould growing on the bathroom door. The stairs are narrow and very steep. We were worken after midnight when the night staff came on and their child ran around in very heavy shoes then again by the child that was sleeping with its mother in the foyer right outside our door when screamed and screamed for 15 minutes or so at 4.00am. Then breakfast was very late.

Great Hostel to stay in, it has very confortable beds, very clean, and a great common space and kitchen to hang out and talk with other travellers. Paulina is a great host that will help you with anything you need.

Can´t fault yaganhouse. lovely place, lots of atmosphere. was a great place to recover for two days when very sick. Paulina the owner was great, really helpful organising tours. NB: check which company they are using for the perito moreno , if zaajh then don´t go,9 hrson a tiny minibus with no one telling us anything or helping at the border, the guide in calafate was very rude. do the boat trips to glacier sereno etc in natales instead,is the same price after you´ve paid entry fees in argentina

Great breakfast (scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurt, coffee or tea, toast, marmalade, margarine)! Very spacious double-private en suite room with sizable bathroom. Good water pressure with plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed (for a hostel). The owner was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and some information on the park. She even lent me an adapter to charge my electronics since my adapter wasn't working. One of the best hostels I've stayed at in years literally! Stay here :)

My girlfriend and I arrived late after an all day bus journey from Ushuaia. Paulina greeted us warmly with a welcome glass of Chilean wine. We were quickly caught by the funky stylings of the place. A really warm and cozy feeling. The beds were very comfy. They even let us leave a couple of our bags in there back storage room while we went off to Torres del Paine for 5 nights. Great breakfast every morning. Paulina and staff were amazing.

Staff here were very helpful and nice. The breakfast were good and the room was nice and modern. However our double room was under the stairs and near the communal area so therefore it was quite noisy.

We liked this place. The hangout area is great and we met some really nice people there our first night. The second, a family with kids were staying there, that was less fun. It has BIG lockers to store things while we were at Torres del Paine. Breakfast was okay. We had some miscommunications with the staff, they said breakfast was 7:30 to .... and when we went down to breakfast at 7:30 before going to TdP, there was no one there, that was sad. We like the location too.

very cosy and nice hostel, staff very helpful, room good size, clean bathrooms. town is very small but this is located in the centre. Staff assisted us in booking our bus for torres del paine and also served breakfast in the morning which was very nice including a mini omelette. also has a very cosy sitting area, i would go again!

This is a highly recommendable hostel. I stayed 3 nights and had a superb time at YaganHouse. Great breakfast, very clean, great staff, fresh private towel & room service every day, supermarket in a 5-min distance, very comfortable kitchen and common room. Lot's of shops/tour agencies/restaurants in a 5-min distance. More a hotel than a hostel :-) thanks for the great stay! I give you a triple A!

Definitely the very best hostel! Super friendly staff, they arranged everything for us. There are just a few rooms which are realy nice with the best beds we have had in months. There is a beautiful livingroom with an open kitchen, this combined with the nice music they are playing made this our best hostel

A hostel with a cool vibe right for this backpacker town. There's always good music playing, there's a great common area (comfy, clean, inviting). And my room was nice too.

I think this is a really nice small hostel. I stayed at (maybe their only) single room. Though it is basic, I think I got the privacy I needed and still did not pay too much money. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. They also are very helpful in booking tours and bus tickets to the Torres del Paine National Park. The breakfast here at Yagan House is delicate and quite memorable.
