Nice location! close to the night street and easy to go anywhere. The staff were helpful. The bedroom is clean, but the bathroom is very dirty.
I had a very pleasant stay! I was in a six bed room, which was spacious and very warm! It's really nice how they have their guest write and draw things on the walls, it really adds to the atmosphere! They lock the door at night, but there's always someone at the reception, so it's not a problem. I didn't spend much time in the common room, but it had a library space and seemed pretty cool! The staff were nice and offered some tours, but only if you were willing, they weren't pushy at all :)
A nice hostel, pretty well placed, easy to get around town, easy to get bus to Longmen grotto. Seems like the hostel offer some good tours; we weren't staying long, so didn't do any. Nice hot shower!
What I loved the most about this hostel is a comfortable room. A neighborhood traditional market, night market is good.
WORST HOSTEL EXPERIENCE EVER! The bar/reception area is nice, other than that the rooms are horrible (noisy and damp smell). I cant really complain about the hostel since it was $4 a night for a private en-suite room (you get what you pay for) but the staff were absolutely appalling. Their English speaking is minimal to none, the tours they arrange have no English either, their attitude was terrible and level of service even worse. Only go if you absolutely have no other choice.
