Excellent location (very close to the railways station and to the city center), very nice staff. There is no proper kitchen but and the fridge is quite small but it's still ok. The decoration looks quite old but it's clean and cosy. The prices are high but the hostels are all expensive in Salzbourg...
Good value for your money. Good place to crash for a few nights, but the dorms are extremely small. No place to move at all. Wish there were more shower/bathrooms available. Bar was okay, but very mellow. Not much going on in the hostel, but a nice and friendly atmosphere. Helpful staffmembers too. Breakfast was allright nothing fancy.
The main quality of this hostel is the staff, which are very kind and sympathetic. The breakfast is not that great and I found a hair when I was eating a slide of bread.
This hostel had the biggest and best lockers I have seen to date. The location is good and overall the facilities were nice. My biggest issue with this place was their inability to control the noise after hours even though they have staff on around the clock. The noise outside went on until around 2AM and then it continued in the hallways until 4AM. What is the point of putting up signs about quiet hours if your staff does not enforce it.
Great hostel in a great location both close to the train station and city centre. The staff were really lovely and nice and the hostel is clean, roomy, and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Hostel was a bit far from the main sites, but otherwise good. Staff were helpful, rooms and bathrooms were clean etc. They play the Sound of Music every night which is a nice touch
Nice reception but no individual bathroom for each room

Location is good. We spent a day and walked around the city. Staff is nice. There's miscowave provided and the restaurant inside the hostel.
Nice facilities friendly staff The washroom is inadequate for the whole hostel but overall things are very nice The hostel plays movie os sound of music every night is a bonus!
Fantastic hostel. Staff were excellent. Bar was great. Small walk to town. Great dorms. Great facilities. Could not recommend higher
Great location from train station and not a long walk to the city center. Good lockers and comfy beds. Breakfast was average, overall "ok" place to stay for a night, wouldn't stay longer!
This hostel was by far the best hostel I've stayed at. They have everything down packed right from the cleanliness to the atmosphere. Plus they've laid it out so no matter whether you're a partier or just there for the Sound of Music every night, then they've got you sorted. The staff are so great and all the extras make it the best stay- bike hire, dinner, kitchenette, great wifi, movie night every night, free DVDs and books...all just perfect.
Nice place but didn't really have the hostel vibe. Felt more like an old school building converted into a hostel. There is unlimited salad for 3.50€ which was nice to get some vegetables after surviving on bread for so long. They show Sound of Music every night which was fun to watch then go see the sights the next day. Friendly staff. Clean. No kitchen.
Great location between the centre and the train station. Loved watching the sound of music at night before our tour! Staff were friendly and helpful. We did not find it very clean, garbages seemed to always be overflowing and showers didn't drain well. The tea kitchen in the basement was very dirty as well.Disappointed in the lounge spaces as they are not very comfortable. Better wifi in the rooms would be great, only worked in lobby. Laundry was good and cheap. Breakfast was cheap and alright.
The staff is super nice! Thank you very much!
This is a really good hostel. Rooms and common areas are clean and well secured. The location is very central to town and there are bikes to rent for €10 a day. Breakfast is the cheapest I have seen for €3.50 and each night at 8pm they play the Sound of Music dvd.
The staffs was all nice and good. What we like the most is they have a fixed movie show at 8 for The Sound of Music. It's a wonderful because Salzburg is the place of TSoM. The location is super convenient, nearby to the train and bus station, and also near to most of the attractions. Breakfast served was good worth with the price. However, Wifi connection was unreachable in our room on 2nd floor. Other than that, everything was good. Would definitely recommend to others and come back again ;)
