Was a really great place and I stayed another night longer than expected! Really great location for exploring the city and getting to the train. Nice offerings for breakfast and dinner at a decent price! Nice big lockers in the rooms that are secured with your key card.
Just a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the old town across the river!! The facilities were alright just that it didn't have a proper kitchen! The check in staff weren't that enthusiastic as other hostels, they just check you in and handed you your key. Besides that the bar staff were much friendlier! 😀 All in all a good place to stay if you are in Salzburg ! :)
Decent hostel. Great vibe during the World Cup matches.
kind staff, comfortable bed, good washroom, everything is good. just wifi could use roby, no use my room.
My friend thought the guy with the beard at the front desk was really attractive. Keep up the good work :)
The best sized lockers we had on the whole interrail trip, comfortable beds, not too far away from the old town, friendly staff, just not great on hostel community atmosphere, quite segregated
This hostel is great. The staff is energetic and friendly. The rooms are small, but the hostel is inexpensive, so it all evens out. The bar has a great vibe and the breakfast was a great deal. I would highly recommend staying at Yoho!
In reality I slept for 20 straight hours here and missed both the city and the hostel so I have no idea if it is good or not.
Hallo Yoho team, i enjoyed the stay and the ambience is very good. The breakfast for that price is super.. the things which i feel personally missing is a MIRROR in the rooms and a rubber cup with an attached stick to pull the water back after bathing in the bathrooms.

Pretty decent hostel. Not too much vibe, and if I was in a more party-oriented city I would have been a bit bummed out...but for Salzburg it was completely fine. Got a good nights rest and all the facilities were great. The one staff owner who helped me talk to DB rep on the phone in German was a lifesaver.
Room was stifling with 4 people in it.
Hostel has a great atmosphere, with a nice pub with cheap happy hour beers available. Dinner is mostly frozen packaged food but its cheap and there are many other better options around the hostel.Great hostel for solo travellers, I was able to organise trips around salzburg with others I met when drinking at the pub. Rooms are spacious, showers and toilets are kept clean and the lockers in the rooms are amazingly huge with a great keycard system. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful
Loved this place, perfect location, my room was wonderfully quiet and spacious, private double with ensuite (particularly good after staying in some very small rooms!). Even the internet was good in the room.
Friendly staff. Overall pretty far from everything. 20 minute walk from train station. Majority of Salzburg is across the river...so also decent hike to most popular sites to see. Clean rooms. Excellent in room lockers.
My stay at yoho was a very pleasant one, it had a nice vibe to it and was good for meeting other people. The rooms were clean and I love a place that gives you a locker and key as part of the package which every place really should. The only thing I would complain about is the lack of kitchen facilities which makes it harder to save money. Otherwise I really liked it here, good location and nice clean environment.
A really nice hostel in an excellent location. Pretty close to Hauptbahnhof, and at a walking distance to the city centre. It was also possible to book tours at the hostel, and the Sound of Music Tour (the original!) was well worth the money! The free breakfast was okay, and dinner in the hostel bar was reasonably cheap and tasted good. The hostel was clean, and the facilities (shower, toilets etc.) were really nice. You have electronic security lockers in the rooms that are free to use!
Unfriendliest hostel of trip from staff Pros: near the station, good maps, comfortable beds and clean rooms Cons: easily the rudest staff I have met. Never given hostel tour, no kitchen (or I was never told about one), mocked by front desk attendant upon arrival. Lots of small fees, pay for food, Sound of Music showing hard to hear/a joke, clogged showers which overflowed, covered in hair of other guests, staff walked into rooms at all hours without knocking! All guests echoed these concerns
Great location, easy to walk between the sights of Salzburg and the hostel throughout the day. Lovely cafes nearby that we frequented many times. The rooms were cozy with the beds and bedding being more comfortable than other hostels we've stayed at before. Would highly recommend.
