Youth Hostel Firenze 2000 Reviews

Worked with me on the problem of having to leave early still awaiting the email about the voucher for the night I didn't get to spend there. Friendly and informative on directions.

The hostel's name, at a first glance, suggested me another kind of service, with beds available individually. However, we had to book for a room, and not for a bed. I also expected a 24h opened reception. Anyway, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff very gentle.

I only stayed one night, so my opinion about other items could be poor, but In that little opportunity I had a trouble and they were so helpful that I would like to point out that fact. I lost my camera in a taxi, and they called all the taxi companies that exist in Firenze to help me found it and were very supportive, and didn't charge me for their help, like others hostels could do. Beside, the staff was very kind all the time. The only thing negative is that the reception isn't 24hrs open.

The woman who works here is awesome. It's clean and simple, perfectly fine. Just make sure you write down your directions for getting here- if you know where you're going ahead of time (the street), you will be fine, there's a big lit-up sign outside! May want to bring your own towel because the ones given to you are very thin, but this place is a really good deal.

Dont stay if you want the hostel experience, its more hotel like.. I dont think we saw anyone the whole time there. It was quiet at nights though which was nice.

This place is a bit out of the way, but not more than 20-30 minutes walk from most populat locations. There is also a pretty convenient busline. The room was smallish but very clean and they make the bed and change the towels every day! Pretty good for a hostel! The staff were very helpful in advising on bus routes, dinner recommendations and they even made a reservation for me for dinner one night. Not a great place to meet other travellers though, as there are no organised activities.

We had a good stay at Firenze 2000. It wasn't the most exciting place, and it was pretty far from the center of Florence, but we appreciated the cakes and juice for breakfast and the cheap-ish internet access (1 euro for 24 hours). The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We walked into town a lot and it took 20 or 30 minutes, which was okay, just not fun for going out at night. We took the bus a couple of times, thanks to instructions from the staff, and that was okay too.

I already told them, that on my next trip to Florence I would certainly stay at the Youth Hostel Firence 2000 again.

Very easy to find at a very calm location. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Everything is ok.

I would stay here again. The hostel was very safe once inside and very clean. simple. the location was far away from town on foot at night. but overall i was pleasantly surprised with that we received once we got into our rooms. there is a cute little sitting patio outside where you can meet fellow travelers.

Grt access to net. Receptionist very sweet and helpful Thin walls though didnt get much sleep.....italians arguing loudly at night. Rooms very attractive

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Youth Hostel Firenze 2000. I would most certainly return if I have another opportunity to visit Firenze.

You have to pay for everything, even for the air conditioning. The smell of our room was ready bad. The towels were no towels at all. We wont come back again to this place and wont recommend it either.

This hostel was perfect for our trip to Florence! The rooms were clean and spacious and the bus stop is just down the road (and happens to be right next to an excellent pasticceria!). We traveled in a group so I wasn't too concerned with the fun/social aspect of the hostel, but I would definitey be concerned if traveling alone and wanting to meet other people because it was pretty quiet. Otherwise, excellent hostel!

Staff were unbelievably helpful , informative and good to talk with.

Well kept hostel, does not close down during the day.

Nice place, huge supermarket in the immediate nearby, great staff. Probably not the best place to meet other travelers but cheap and clean. I'll stay there again next month. Recommended.
