We had a great stay at this hostel. The Japanese style room was simple but clean. The sitting area, over looking the town, was comfortable and warm and a great place to hang out. The meals were especially good- the owner is such a good cook. I loved the trip to look at the night sky and over Yufuin. The farewell song by the whole family and staff was wonderful.

Amazing Hostel. Set on a beautiful hill above the town of Yufuin. We walked about 30mins to get there from the station, but i think you can call for a pick up! Had its own small segregated onsens, which i enjoyed as per all onsens in japan. At night the owner took us for a walk and a bit of star gazing, which also gave us a chance to meet the other guests. I advise to pay for dinner and breakfast, as its good value for money, and there's nowhere close by to eat. Will Definatly be going back!

It's very peaceful and comfotable place to sleep. I'll recommend this hostel to my buddy! But a little bit far from station. :)

Friendly staff, attractive location. The hot spring bath was a huge plus!
