Our recent stay at Zhuo Ma's was one of the best experiences I've had while traveling through China! Although Zhuo Ma was not here when we stayed, Ama and the rest of her family took amazing care of us. They arranged all transportation to and from the park, as well as to the airport. All three meals are provided, and breakfast and dinner are eaten in the communal room with other travelers. The food is traditional Tibetan, and very good! Ama even prepared homemade barley wine for dinner!
I stayed for 4 nights with my 78 year old mother, my sister and daughter. We LOVED being in this home. Ama is so friendly and smiling all the time. The home is up on the mountainside and far away from everything but they will drive you down to Jiujaigou whenever you need to go so it is not a problem. The bedrooms are on the upper level of the house so there are a lot of stairs to climb. The one bathroom smells bad some of the time, but there is always the outhouse option if you have to wait.

Can't recommend Zhuo Ma's highly enough. Our stay there was possibly the highlight of our entire month-long trip. Her entire family is a pleasure to be around, and we enjoyed hanging out with the other guests as well. While they are far from the Jiuzhaigou park entrance, this ends up being a good thing because it is quiet and beautiful in their neighborhood and they can easily help you see other things.
Zhuo ma was not home, only her brother. His english was not that good, communication was hard. The park was beautifull but there was notingh more to do in Jiuzhaigou. You could better stay in Songpan.
