Mekuria Pension/Guesthouse

Nice quiet and green area of the town, clean rooms, and only 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Jinka. Mekuria Pension/Guesthouse has a bar serving cold beer and soft drinks. There is also a TV situated in the outside seating next to the bar. The owner is from Jinka but has spent 18 years in the USA and speaks fluent/very good English. The property also benefits of having a back up water supply in times of water shortages, as well as a small generator for during electricity shortages. We now have WiFi.

5-10 minutes walk from the centre of the town in a quiet and green area called Tenadam. There are shops, internet cafes, restaurants, bars, and banks 5-10 minutes walk away. There is also a local market in the centre of town on Saturdays.

The rooms have mosquito nets, bed side table, and chair, there is also seating areas outside of the rooms. Please note like other/most pensions in Ethiopia the toilets are shared with other guests and the shower rooms is also shared.

Mekuria Pension/Guesthouse Policies & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 10 days before arrival. In case of cancellations made less than 10 days before arrival, half amount of the booking will be charged. In case of cancellations made less than 72 hours before arrival, the full amount of the booking will be charged.

Payment upon arrival by cash in local currency Ethiopian Birr.
