The Kind Hostel is in the centre of Kuta Lombok town, right next to coffee shops and local restaurants and only 5-7minutes to the beach,12-15 minutes to the race circuit and 15 minutes to the nearest surf spot.

The open comfy common areas and kitchen offer space to chill and connect with like-minded passionate surf travellers. The family-operated hostel has fully air-conditioned multi-share rooms with 2 bunk beds each. For a total of 8 guests, there are 2 shared showers and 1 shared toilet (2nd in progress).

Free Wi-Fi, locker room and free tea/coffee.
We also have surfboard rentals, surf lessons, surf guiding and rental scooters are availables.

Free Cancellation 1 day before the arrival without being charged by the property.

The location of the hostel is good but that’s about it. Outside the dorm a group of locals hangout all day and drink all night just feet away from the front door. Made a strange vibe seeing 5-8 strangers just sleeping on couches and laying around outside the dorm. Also the bathroom is pretty dirty with old toothbrush’s and Razers rotting away.

Private room was full of “stuff”, we slept with a rat next to our heads biting off our protein bars. You need to take your shoes off to access toilets and showers, and it ain’t exactly clean. Sink area was super dirty, no soap (or just literally pieces of solid soap here and there), toothpaste spread all around, even an old toothbrush and a razor just abandoned there, didn’t feel hygienic. Can’t say much about the vibes cause I haven’t spent much time there. Staff is nice. Only cash payments.
