Good location and nice staff, but the bathroom in the room that we had was in a need of a deep cleaning. Especially the ventilation, plumbing and taps… Also half of the spotlights in the room were broken.

We booked a stay for four nights but left after the first night (we only stayed because we arrived past midnight). The hotel is in the middle of a broken street which feels unsafe. When we arrived there was a mattress in the hotel lobby and some locals were even sleeping in the hallway. The room was much smaller than expected and the towels were dirty and stained. I don’t know if it was our minds playing tricks on us, but our bodies started itching when we sat on the bed. We had to take out our clothes to cover the sheets so that the latter wouldn’t come in contact with our skin (for the itchiness). Ok the bright side, the hotel staff allowed us to only pay 2 nights instead of 4 when we checked out early the next day. I don’t even know if this review will be posted. I was too naive and booked this stay even though I couldn’t read a single review from other guests (despite website shows the hotel had over 200 reviews)

Hotel Amax, New Delhi: Staff was Beyond Great! Lots of Hot Water. Room was Large and Clean. The Restaurant had Good Food at a Good prices.- They arranged an Airport Pick Up. The Travel Desk was good also - The room price is below average value (There is a 25% room tax added on to online price) - The Biggest Drawback is the outside noise. Dogs Barking, Horns honking and Folks Yelling till late at night. -- I would recommend the Amax Hotel.
